Treck Hostel

This hostel was great, it was clean and comfortable and for the most part staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only negative was the staff cook up that occurred on the first night that I was there. I went to cook dinner at 7 pm, but when I went in there the staff had their cakes in the oven. I was happy to wait my turn, but after three hours of waiting, I asked staff if their cakes were done, as I wanted to cook my dinner. They said the cake was done, but then said the kitchen closed at 10 pm and that I couldn’t use it. As a result I didn’t eat dinner the first night I was there, because the staff were cooking their cakes. I think it’s probably best to eat out if staying there because of this reason. The kitchen seemed to be more of a staff room. It would also be very hard checking into this place after hours and I found it confusing trying to check out early the next morning. As you need your key to exit the property, however there was no obvious return box once outside.

Very cool concept. Staying at caravans or dorm rooms. It’s clean and they have pretty much everything you need.
