Perfect center location

The hostel was in the middle of the center, the location was absolutly perfect.

The pillow was a bit of discomfortable and the bathrooms were quite small. Although, the hostel was clean and staff was extremelly friendly.

Sen bloody sational

This was my first time staying in a Hostel as a solo 34 female. The location in Ghent and the views are unmatched! The staff are the most lovely and delightful people I have ever met! The toilets and bathrooms were always clean and tidy! Excellent facilities including a washing machine and dryer. I couldn’t fault this Hostel in anyway.

Perfect view! I would never imagine to stay in a hostel with this magnificent view. Also the common areas for hostel are so cool and cozy

1. There are not enough bathrooms for all those people. And during our stay they didn’t fill the soap. Toilets were a bit dirty and unhygienic. 2. There are not covers for blankets and it felt so unhygienic. We actually didn’t understand why they didn’t give it, because the bed sheets and pillow case were fine

ah the view from the room is stunning! Room was facing Saint Michael's Bridge. Room was spacious and clean!

1. Reception: Isnt 24hrs, i think they come 8am to 11pm only 2. Common area: Same schedule with reception. I kind of expected a 24hr common space 3. I think this is very random event-but, i happen to start working at 4am and a couple came to our 16mix bed room, doing the did. It was funny at first but eventually was annoying and cheap and disgusting of course! I stayed for 2 days only, didnt happen the next day tho. 4. Locker/Storage rooms - no free storage for customers, they have paid locker tho. Big enough it is able to keep my medium luggage, a backpack and eco bag

Amazing staff and location

The staff was extremely friendly and gave us all the info we needed. The location and the view were just breathtaking. There was a good breakfast option. The rooms were nice but of course 16 beds are a bit much. The bathrooms are the best they can be. All in all, would recommend

Perfect for experiencing the lively heart of Ghent!

All staff members were exceptionally nice, friendly, and helpful. The location of the hostel is perfect – you’re literally in the very centre of the city, and all the main sightseeing spots are within easy reach. The view from room 12 is simply exceptional! Honestly, it’s by far the best scenery I’ve ever seen from a hotel window. The hostel itself is very clean. The shared bathrooms and toilets were by far the cleanest I’ve ever seen in public spaces, not to mention the room and the bed themselves. Long story short, I really enjoyed my stay, and it offers incredible value for money.

Since the hostel is located in the very heart of the city, be prepared for some noise at night, as Ghent’s nightlife is lively and vibrant. And, as with any hostel, your experience largely depends on your roommates. Be aware that this factor can significantly affect your stay. Other than that, the hostel itself is simply awesome.

Not bad but not the best.

The location and the view on the “special view room” was dreamy. The cafeteria and the language room after check out was a life saver.

Room was so small we had to walk one person at a time but can’t change that. Pillows were uncomfortable.

The location is excellent, with an amazing view of the city center. Everything was clean and well organized, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The price was a bit high, but that’s understandable since it was during the city’s festival week.

Absolutely Amazing Hostel!

Location was superb!! Right next to the main city/town centre and a short walk to all the attractions. It's a 40 min walk to Gent Station but that was a simple, easy walk along the canals. Amazing, friendly staff who were so cheerful and spoke perfect English. Kitchen was absolutely spotless and there were loads of common areas to enjoy. Staff kept toilets and showers clean, so they were very enjoyable to use. Also the view from my room window was absolutely stunning (see pic below)! A perfect birds eye view of the historic buildings of Ghent. Overall, I would definitely return and I'll recommend this hostel to all my friends!

Excellent hostel in the heart of Gand

Spectacular position, right in the centre of Gand's old town and easily reacheable via tram. The key system is entirely digital and you can control the access from your own phone. It was hot, but the hostel predisposed fans for each guest and it was really helpful. The stuff were all gentle and ready to help and answer questions. It was possible to leave some food in the fridge even after check-out, and they have lockers (quite cheap) to leave your luggage after checkout. A toilet is also available to use just in the lobby!

Some sinks were a little clogged and I couldn't find the hairdryer listed in the room's description.

Location was fantastic. Right in the city center with a fabulous view of the canals. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There were plenty of showers and they were very nice.

The lockers were pretty small and only big enough to put valuables in.

Excellent Hostel to stay in Gent

The hostel is situated in an excellent location, close to main attractions and easily accessible. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and always ready to assist. Highly recommended hostel for a short trip to Gent. It features a clean and comfortable social room where you can relax and enjoy a nice drink or coffee.

I was hesitant to book a hostel before the marathon in Gent, and I certainly won't take that risk again. Although the guests were surprisingly quiet and I was able to sleep, it is true that the room was located on the main street, which is quite noisy at night. Other rooms are situated along a quieter side street with no traffic, making them a potentially better choice for future stays.

Considering that it is in the city centre and the price is reasonable, I find this hostel good.

Location and view were great, room was good too. The staff was really kind and hospitable.

The doors of the rooms are designed so bad that whenever someone would enter, the door would make an annoying noise which wakes you up, so you have a good sleep here. Except paying for a bed and sheets, most of the things in hostel such as towels or a luggage lockers you have to pay extra which I find terrible. Also, at the reception you don't get a duvet cover, but another sheet that you cover yourself with first and then you cover yourself with a duvet (without a cover for it ofc) over it, very unhygienic and I have never experienced this kind of "hospitality". The showers were constantly smelling bad. Another backside is that you don‘t get a physical key for entering a hostel, staircase, bathroom and room, but you get it on e-mail as digital key so you always have to keep your phone and charger with you and it makes you to minimize using your phone while you want to make a photos, videos or simply engage in a video call with someone. Not to mention that whenever you stop at a bar or restaurant for a break you have to ask for charging your phone. Modern, but not functional and smart nor relaxing.

amazing location of the hostel in the middle of the historical place. The equipment was wonderful, the social place was aesthetic and always full of people. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment. Beautiful view from the window. Beds comfortable. There is an extra charge for towels. If you want to use the locker, bring your own lock.

Perfect location, clean and wonderful service

The staff is absolutely wonderful, help me to carry my luggage, the shower is big and clean. Amazing location and you can leave your luggage the the lockers with small fee. The view outside is absolutely unforgettable. Will be back!
