Clean. Excellent location. Good storage and living space. Tram stop at the front door and around the corner. Good bakery diagonally across the street for inexpensive breakfast and light lunch. Just the right amount of coffee and sugar for three days. Clear entry instructions and good communication.
The description is accurate as the first flight of stairs is extremely tight and steep. There are a couple of bars across the street that start up late in the evening so earplugs are recommended for light sleepers. The bathroom is private but next door in the main hallway; a minor inconvenience as the only traffic is people traveling to the top floor.

Malgré un petit souci à l’arrivée (le check-in ne s’était pas fait et nous n’avions pas les codes d’accès), tout s’est vite arrangé après avoir contacté le numéro indiqué. Une dame très gentille nous a tout expliqué.
La chambre, située dans un quartier calme et proche du centre, est toute neuve, très propre et décorée avec goût. La salle de bain privée se trouve sur le palier juste à côté, ce qui ne nous a pas dérangés. Le tram passe devant le bâtiment, mais cela ne nous a pas posé problème.
Le prix est très raisonnable pour Gand, et nous avons même découvert un super endroit pour bruncher dans la rue. Nous recommandons !

Das Stadthaus ist klein, aber hat drei grosszügige Zimmer mit je eigenem Bad. Man hat dadurch sehr viel Privatsphäre. Als wir dort waren, war alles frisch renoviert und in sehr gutem Zustand.
Die Decken und Türen sind nicht ganz schalldicht. Man hört die Gäste darüber durchs Zimmer laufen, was bei uns leider die ganze Nacht der Fall war.
