I liked that it was a clean place and smelled clean, the bathroom was shared with all the other rooms but was always clean.

It is an economical place but I had difficulty with the schedule because in the booking it said 14:00 and they made me wait 30 min in the car until 14:30 which according to the person who dealt with the reservations was the check-in time, and I had to take a picture of our identification on the person's private cell phone and this seems excessive to me for the protection of personal data. In the early hours of the morning somewhere between 5:00 - 6:00 they started washing the washing machine and it was very noisy because the room was next to the sink and a sink that was in the room made traces of the pipes, which was very annoying in the morning hours.

I stayed with my mother for three nights. It's located on the outskirts of Lugano, specifically in Grancia, across from an industrial park. Despite being only 10 minutes from the bus stop, which runs frequently, the hilly climb with our suitcases was tedious. Of course, it's a quiet area...at night, you can only hear the bells of the nearby church. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. The hot water, Wi-Fi, etc., worked perfectly.

Despite being indicated on Booking.com, there's no 24-hour reception; in fact, there's no reception at all... nor lockers. Communication with the staff was cumbersome. Despite having made the reservation through Booking.com, I had to send them the documentation several times via WhatsApp... and they always repeated the same thing. The physical delivery of keys is done through safes with codes at the entrance. It's true that check-in is open after 3:30 p.m., but they had me outside, right at the door, waiting for an hour with my mother, in the heat, and with our suitcases. The cleaning lady was inside, and we could have gotten in because the room was already ready. The room is extremely small; there's barely enough room to open our suitcases. It was very hot in the room, and the fan didn't provide enough air. With the window open, there was no fresh air either, and the view was of a warehouse in the interior courtyard. Microwave, coffee maker and kettle inside the closet itself... Everything was very small... The room was not comfortable at all. Although the public transport card was indicated as included in the Booking.com reservation, a few days before I was informed that it doesn't include anything... and therefore, we couldn't use the useful Ticino Ticket, which allowed us to travel comfortably by public transport throughout the canton of Ticino, like most hotels. The restaurant, cafeteria, and packed lunches that Booking.com also advertises don't exist. There is only one restaurant that serves dinner in the evenings, and it is closed on Mondays. Despite the reasonable price/quality ratio, I certainly won't return here again. Booking.com should take action against this establishment because it advertises services such as lockers, 24-hour reception, a transport card, and a cafeteria/restaurant service that are nonexistent in practice. It's a scam for Booking.com customers.

Beware that the check in process is a disaster. I had to download a 3rd party app to communicate with the owner (whats app), i had to enter my credit card on a 3rd party website, i had to enter my document information details on another 3rd party website, i had to send photos of the same documents via whats app (all the red flags but I did it anyway!) and still on the afternoon of the check-in day i didn't have the key/code to enter the apartment. So I had to book another hotel and forfeit my payment to this place! I hope you enjoy my money without actually delivering the service that I paid for!

My experience was really bad. I booked the hotel one month in advance. I do not know if it is due to Booking.com or the hotel. When it comes close to my date, the price gets lower. And I saw that of 7 rooms, just 2 rooms were booked. When staying, I finally knew the reason. The location is very far from the city centre (nearly 5km), with that price, is it really worth it? Secondly, the water here was so dirty, and the cups were partly broken even. The customer service was horrible. If anyone seeing on their site that they supported ticino ticket. NOOO, they stop it. A piece of advice from me, never book this hotel (choose the one in the city centre), pay attention to the one giving you ticino tickets. Even if you want to find peace, this one has awful facilities. I thought Booking.com was already disgusging, this one was even worse.

There's a cool balcony, room comes with a small fridge, a microwave, coffee machine and a hand washer, there's no air conditioner, but theres a small ceiling fan.

Bathrooms are shared with all the guests, there's 2 big and clean bathrooms with shower, we didn't find it a problem at all, but its something to have in mind.
