Für einen Kurztrip auf der Durchreise durchaus eine Option. Carona ist toll, wenn man dem Trubel von Lugano entgehen wil

Sehr freundlicher Wirt, das Dorf hat einen besonderen Charme. Aktuell war eine fantastische Photoausstellung herausragender Künstler entlang der Tessiner Häuser des Ortskerns. Die Umgebung ist sehr reizvoll, man kann viel wandern, kommt aber auch mit dem Ortsbus nach Lugano oder auch mit dem Auto nach Mircote. Wir haben hier gegessen, das war sehr lecker.

Das Frühstück für 15 Franken in einer Tüte bereits fertig gemacht- wie ein Lunchpaket- war nicht so ansprechend. Da die Zimmer, modernisiert, über der Küche sind, riecht es im gesamten Haus nach Essen, das sollte verbessert werden.

Saubere Zimmer, bequeme Betten, gross, gute Dusche, Parkplatz vorhanden; freundlicher Empfang; Aussicht top dank erhöhter Lage; Ruhige Lage, aber aktuell eine Baustelle vor der Türe;

kein Frühstück, wir hatten es aber auch nicht vorher kommuniziert; Alternative sehr pittoresk ums Eck, nur Buffet, daher teuer, aber toller Garten;

A genuine medieval village, in beautiful surroundings

Very clean and large room with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a huge bath. Coffee maker in the room. And my dog was made very welcome. A truly enjoyable few days in this fascinating medieval village. The restaurant food was delicious. Highly recommended.

I liked everything about this stay. I do want to inform that this wonderful place is not suited for people with mobility issues, unfortunately. I struggled a bit with the stairs, and bathtub. Also, the village has few food or other shops, so I would recommend bringing some spare provisions with you, just in case the Cafe and restaurant is closed on the day.

Man wurde in Ruhe gelassen. Es handelte sich aber nicht um ein eigentliches Hotelzimmer.

Das Zimmer war angenehm gross; der dazu gehörende Balkon war ab Mittag wunderbar schattig.

Seitlich unseres Zimmers war eine Baustelle. Die Arbeiter begannen vor 7 Uhr mit der Arbeit, verliessen die Baustelle aber nach einer knappen Stunde wieder. Die Terrasse des Grottos war am Freitagabend gut besetzt. Bis Mitternacht war es deshalb recht laut. Das Zimmermädchen hat uns nur ein einziges Mal ihre Dienste zur Verfügung gestellt. Es musste angehalten werden, den Boden des Balkons, der zu Beginn voller Blätter war, zu wischen. Das Frühstück wurde im Restaurant in einem Paperbag bereit gestellt. Geschirr, Kaffee und Tee so wie Besteck mussten selber irgendwie organisiert werden.

La colazione é stata una grande delusione.... Su Booking, la colazione é proposta a CHF 18.- ma sul posto abbiamo pagato CHF 19.- a persona. Per la colazione non c'era nessun servizio. Un sacchettino con dentro pochissima roba, non di buona qualità e non prodotti freschi. Per una persona che non beve caffé non c'era nessuna alternativa se non un misero succo di frutta (da Discount). Un vero peccato. Sarebbe meglio non proporre la colazione piuttosto che una cosa simile... L'anno scorso la colazione era ottima, con un servizio al tavolo, con thé, cioccolata, affettato, uova, ma quest'anno niente di tutto questo, una vera delusione. In questo grotto ci ritorno di sicuro, ma senza colazione. a meno che non torni ad essere ottima come l'anno scorso.... Peccato.

Schönes Grotto mit schönen Zimmer, authentisch, simpel aber alles tipptopp. Nettes Personal.

Die Zimmer sind etwas ringhörig zu dem Gang. Das Frühstück ist nicht bedient, wird von extern gebracht und Kaffe vom Zimmer. Ist den Aufpreis nicht wert.

Tussen Lugano en Morcote

Ruime, modern ingerichte kamer met uitstekende badkamer en eigen terrasje. Vriendelijke gastheer. Mooie ligging op de berg.

Toen we aankwamen kregen we niet de luxe kamer die we gereserveerd hadden, maar een veel kleinere zonder terras of balkon. Na reclameren kregen we toch de juiste kamer. Omdat het restaurant geen ontbijtservice had, werd het ontbijt ‘s avonds al in een tasje voor je klaar gezet, waardoor er geen vers brood was. Ook kon je geen thee krijgen, ereader wel een nespresso apparaat op de kamer boor koffie

Verlängerter Auffahrtsausflug

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und hatte alles was man erwartet. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war lecker. Besonders der Salat, das Ossobuco mit Risotto und das Tiramisu hat mir geschmeckt.

Perfecte tussenstop voor een trip naar Trentino.

Zeer mooie locatie. Wel enige haardspelden nodig om er te geraken. Restaurant is in het gebouw. Ontbijt is niet inclusief. Wel uitgebreid voor 25 euro per persoon. Restaurant heeft interessante wijnkaart. Kamer met balkon was ruim en badkamer heeft een zeer goede douche.
