Nice small hotel in the quiet zone near the Lake. I’ll recommend it to friends travelling around

Really nice location near restaurant. Not far from the Lake Como itself. Pretty cheap with nice friendly staff that could speak few languages. Alright simple Breakfast in the morning

We.loved it!

The charming hotel had a wholesome, homely feel to it. We liked the convenience of the back entrance to the first floor from where our car was parked. Although it is a charming old building, everything was functioning perfectly well. Good breakfast!! Easy walk of a few minutes to the restaurants in the village. Really fabulously located between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, both gorgeous!!

Next to a bit of a noisy road, but not too bad.

A good resting point for us and for several guests going north to Germany or west to Sardinia.

It was nice to stay in a family type hotel instead of an impersonal chain place. It was attractive, clean, with a good breakfast, good water pressure and hot water. The small town was charming, and the mountain views impressive. But the outstanding quality was the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, he seemed to be the manager, who did everything he could for us, from coming to get us in the parking lot, to finding a wheelchair, to getting us pizza when I was too tired to go out for it. I cant thank him or praise him enough.

The double bed was a bit uncomfy: the single bed was fine.

It was out first time in Como and having done some research for our next trip we will stay closer to the lake and San Fe

It’s quiet at night.

It’s quite dated, there were holes in one of the bedroom walls by the bed. The bathroom was quite dated and I had to cover the drain by the toilet as it wasn’t very pleasant. The staff are friendly but not forthcoming but if you asked for any information you were provided with full information.

Little gem

Owner is a really nice guy, location just above the hustle and bustle. Quirky rustic hotel.

As with a lot of older properties in italy, sound can travel a little so you may here a bit of noise from next door, shouldn't disused you though.

Charming and absolutely beautiful views!

The drive to the hotel was already a wonderful experience. The roads are narrow and curvy but your efforts are rewarded with the beautiful views. The hotel itself is absolutely charming and quaint. The rooms are simple but comfortable. Very colorful and you just feel right at home as if you were visiting your aunt in Italy. A wonderful sweet smell of orange croissants greeted us as we came down from our room for breakfast. We were waited on at our table for breakfast and were brought a delicious meal. The dining area is very nicely decorated and because of the large windows lets in a lot of light inside. The gate to the parking area is narrow but we fit through and we found a parking spot.

location, the room

every thing was ok but: We arrived on the motorbike late at the hotel due to a storm and we where very hungry. But for the owner it was not possible to give us a tiny thing to eat. Some bread and ham would be enough. Drinks was no problem. We had to go to town to find some food. the the breakfast was not ok. you had to chose the right time to have you're breakfast because when it was crowdy you had to wait a long time. Secondly there was nothing warm unless you pay an additional 4€ for 2 eggs. from te beginning you get the absolute minimum so you also had to ask several times for extra bread or koffie or ham/cheese/salami.

i was never on the hill of the Como lake. This is a different world. It's worthwhile and extremely quiet. Be cautious on the read; the streets are narrow and they drive very hard

at the breakfast, ham and cheese are cheap and poor quality. A shame in this country

Great hotel with good views, we really enjoyed it.

Very charming hotel with great views! The staff were lovely and service was excellent. Its not a very touristy hotel and more like a countryside B&B. Would recommend.

In the morning it can be quite loud with the sounds of trucks & cars passing by, but it's not the hotel's fault. If you're looking to visit Como or other bigger towns such as Bellagio or Varenna, would recommend getting a car as the hotel is quite far and up on the hills.
