Good value hotel compared to the options in the area

The staff is very efficient and friendly, nice rooms of various sizes, the level of equipment in the room is good, 3 minutes walk to the lakeshore, good breakfast for an additional fee, you receive a discount card for attractions in the Lugano area , From a room on the 2nd floor there is a partial view of the lake.

There is no elevator, there are rooms on the 2nd floor, going up with luggage is not easy.

Wow.... what kind, delightful owners. Room views over the lake. The owners proposed me Ticino ticket which I used and were more than helpful in recommending things to be done. Always open to help.

Return visit to Melide

Lovely family run B&B. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We had a room with a balcony this time which was great and had a view of the lake. This was our second visit on our way to Italy and I hope we'll do it again. Breakfast was very good too.

Mostly the attention we received by the owners and the possibility to park our car safely in front of of the B&B, as it was packed with luggage etc.

Bathroom was a bit tight for 3 people. While everything was very clean, an upgrade of the facilities could be of advection to make this B&B even more attractive.

Fabulous - A couple, a Walking Stick and a Lurcher

Great size room, first floor was the lowest, but easy staircase for hubby. Pet friendly, fabulous breakfast. We also stayed here in April on route to Brindisi, so we knew how lovely and traditional this bed and breakfast is. Great terrace for a beer before walking to the lake which is absolutely stunning. Super hosts. Lovely meal at Ristorante Giardino, only a few minutes walk away, dog friendly with an outside terrace as well. Take your Swiss adaptor and European Blue parking disc for the Blue Zone parking, just in case - was invaluable.

The hosts were fantastic and I got a big room with a big and comfortable bed. Dogs are allowed. The area around is nice for a walk along the lake. Parking was provided. Breakfast was decent. Again, the hosts were super nice. I would love to stay there again to explore more the area with the family. There are nice facilities for the kids in the lake. Nice playground and dogs can access the lake (always on leash).

The wifi sign in my room was not good. But I think they can fix that soon.

Great place to stay while touring around Lake Lugano

The location seems like a very well-run family business. We were received kindly and very efficiently by the gentleman running the place. we filled out a paper reception form - which I haven't seen I think in years. The location's allocated parking for guests seems like an improvised niche in the sidewalk - still it totally fills the need. The B&B's location is a few meters from the lake-shore. Really ideal for enjoying a walk along the lake. It's also a few steps from a lovely restaurant serving really good food - where we had a great dinner. The next day's breakfast buffet was rich and plentiful. When the staff serving us noticed that my spouse chose not to eat (not because of anything that was served - for personal dietary reasons only), the same person upon checkout insisted that we pay only for one breakfast instead of two since only one of us actually ate. This was really quite generous of her - considering our reservation was for two people in a room including breakfast.

Very friendly owners, very cute hotel, not far away from the small city and the lake with very clean rooms! I immediately felt comfortable there. Also a very nice breakfast with lots of things. A continental breakfast was provided with plenty of variety and the owners went out of their way to ensure we made the most of our visit to the Ticino region . We would definitely return.
