very nice hotel, very clean, the staff were all very nice and the breakfast was tasty

Could be nice to see more variety in the breakfast menu, maybe some salads or vegetables, but what they did serve was good and tasty. generally speaking the hotel is a little old fashion styled but it didn't bother us.

Ideal place for a stopover on the way from Southern Germany to France/Italy.

Good value for money. Perfectly situated at Lago di Lugano. Beautiful views. Good for a stroll into Campione d'Italia. Nice pool and good breakfast. Very nice for a stopover with family.

• The rooms were very clean. • The view during breakfast was beautiful — a real highlight of the mornings. • The staff was very friendly and helpful. • The hotel offers covered parking, which is a big plus in case of hail or bad weather. • The pool was decent.

• Breakfasts were very poor — limited selection and the same food every day. • You have to pay for parking, and there are no free public spots available nearby. • The sun loungers and pool mattresses were old and worn out, and should be replaced.

Very bad

The night reception staff was very friendly

I fell and got injured in the hotel bathtub. My friend helped me find staff to help call an ambulance. The bathtub did not have anti-slip measures, and the hotel did not give me any corresponding compensation.

Nice view

We had a very nice room with a nice balcony and a nice view. The room was comfortable and clean.

We had a dog and it was very hard to find a place where we could bring it to the toilet. The hotel was next to a busy road and it was very unsafe to walk alongside it if you needed to go to the shops.

Nice location, wish for better coffee

We had a very nice view on the lake. Nice location with lots of sunshine. The breakfast was also nice however the selection is not much and on the border of Italy you would expect better coffee :(

You have to pay €15 extra for the dog per night! You also have to pay €50 per day if you would like to store your bicycle in the garage... There were a lot of weeds around the pool, not sure why they don't clean it.... Unfortunately our room was full with ants. There was a lot of traffic in the morning around 4 am when the Casino closed.

It was a great 2 night stop. I highly recommend this hotel

First of all, the surprise: we were given a Suite without asking. Then the location outside Lugano that can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The restaurant was nice: we had one dinner and all breakfast. No complaint. Staff extremely friendly. The garage is very practical. There is a nice pool that we did not use. Dinner on the terrace is great. This hotel deserves more stars.

We got a really nice room upgrade! Great lake views, super clean room, comfy mattress!

We got a really nice room upgrade which was very kind! The hotel is situated on the lake Lugano, and features great views! Rooms are super clean, staff is very polite, mattress is comfortable, WiFi is quite fast. Breakfast was also OK. There is also a large garage where we parked our car. Will be back!

Breakfast could be much better. Small selection of fruit, fresh bakery and sweets. Pool area would deserve some reconstruction.

Beautiful view but very underwhelming property and excessive cost.

The room was well appointed and comfortable with good AC and nice bed.

The price per room relative to property was excessive and due to unexpected change in itinerary, was forced to pay for 2 nights when we were only able to stay for one. Property is poorly maintained with overgrown grass and weeds throughout. Pool has dilapidated chairs and umbrellas.

Staff were excellent. Carlo helped me out with extending my stay and ladies were all great as were restaurant staff. Free bus & train pass. Bus stop directly outside straight into Lugano.

Be careful about 15chf to park in car park
