Absolute gem - would highly recommend!

Fabulous choice at breakfast and great quality, fab tasting ingredients. Very good service and everything beautifully presented. Hots were very welcoming, helpful and friendly - made us feel very comfortable and at home in our surroundings.

Absolutely stunning

We had a one night stay in this truly beautiful guest house. Our twin room was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very tastefully decorated as was the rest of the house, with its character and quirkiness. Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and very informative about the area. Devonian guest house is in a quiet location and being just a short walk to the beach and harbour. Absolutely fantastic breakfast , with plenty to choose from the menu. Cannot recommend this beautiful guest house highly enough. Would defiantly stay again.

Very friendly hosts and an exceptional breakfast. Room was perfect for a solo visitor. Very clean and tidy. 15-20min walk into town and harbour front. Good recommendations for an evening meal.

WC was a little cramped but not a problem for a little guy like myself. The Hosts did contact me once I booked the room, to check that I'd looked at the photos and checked that I was going to be happy with the room/bathroom, which I was.

Absolutely loved this place. From the moment we arrived we realised we should have booked a longer stay. The establishment was so personal and welcoming. Loved the room and the decor of the whole place. The included breakfast made in the dining room tailored to each guest was superb! Piper and Terence were the best hosts ever! Welcomed us into their home and were so friendly and we loved their banter.

For me as someone who travels a lot, has to be the “PREMIUM B&B” that I have stayed at. Room was great, house was fabulous and P&T (hosts) were wonderful.

Parking is tight, so if you can find street parking, that would be better.

Our one-night stay was truly fantastic. We were made to feel incredibly welcome by our hosts, whose exceptional helpfulness was matched by the superb breakfast and the incredibly comfortable bed. The sauna was a huge bonus on top of everything else. The hotel itself is a masterpiece, perfectly blending Victorian English charm with all the modern comforts one expects from a 21st-century establishment. Wonderful stay

Great location, walkable distance to Ilfracombe centre and harbour. Terence and Piper were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted in the mornings by name and they really took the time to get to know us. Breakfast in the mornings was 10/10, plenty of choice. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Everything that you think would be a nice extra touch, they had already thought about. One of the nicest and friendliest places we have ever stayed!

Wonderful weekend break

Pipa and Terence were wonderful, the buildings decorating looked new and the whole place was spotless, the breakfast choice was great and the actual food even better. Pipa and Terence personal interaction with us and all the guests made the weekend break a lovely experience.

The guest house was exceptionally clean & very comfortable. The decor was very relaxing and the hosts very friendly and personable. There was a very nice vibe about the place and emphasis placed on making the stay enjoyable. Good choice of breakfast options with choice of sittings which were very conveniently timed.
