The Devonian

We had such a lovely stay at the Devonian, the room was beautiful, the breakfast very tasty with a lot of choice and the staff looked after uns well.

There is actually nothing to criticise (and we have fairy high expectations :-) .

Immaculate room, superb facilities (gym and mini-cinema!) , friendly proprietors. A 5 star experience! Some great touches - high quality coffee pods, in room tourist literature and postcard, bathrobes. Excellent quality breakfast with extensive choices. Lovely nature-friendly garden with secluded sitting out areas. Incredible value for money.

Nothing.

The Devonian has been a wonderful and positive experience for us this weekend. It has unique qualities that make it stand out from other accommodation that we have previously stayed at. Each room has been thought through carefully and decorated beautifully- loved the reading room, bar and the garden was also an added bonus to explore. The gym was clean and the equipment choice was perfect. We didn’t make the ‘cinema’ unfortunately but the concept was so appealing! Piper and Terence are a fantastic couple and extended their welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast and attention to detail to generally everything was just brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the room upgrade. Amazing value for money… I hope they get to relax and enjoy some well deserved time off when they close for the season! Thank you very much!!!

Everything. Owners were wonderful and so helpful. Beautiful place, thought of everything. Breakfast fantastic. Recommend to all.
