The Collingdale Guest House

The hosts Sharon & Daryl were lovely people very welcoming and couldn't do enough the room was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we have had while being on holiday. The lady who helped at breakfast sorry didn't catch her name was also lovely. The extra touch of a card and chocolates on the bed for our anniversary was so nice definitely go back again

Being given the wrong room on arrival as we were given a standard room when we arrived but we unpacked anyway and went to go out shortly afterwards but on going out we were apprehended by Sharon the owner and we were told we were given the wrong room as we paid for a deluxe double with a sea view so we had to pack up quickly as the next couple had arrived and were about to check in so we were told to move rooms as quickly as possible in the process I lost my new deodorant which cost £5.00 and had to replace it .

Room was smaller than the photos would suggest. The most disappointing thing was to be accused of leaving a window open in the room that let rain in - we did not and believe it was the staff who opened it as the day before we returned to the room to find the window wide open. Darren was quite accusatory in front of other guests too, we found this humiliating, unnecessary and rude.
