Beautiful stay next to the semois river

A beautiful stay for a great price! 2nd time for us and we would definitely come again. Reception and breakfast (local products!) could not be better. The help yourself bar with wines and beers is such a nice touch. Be sure to take a moment in the lovely garden to enjoy!

Loved our stay here, memorable experience!

The welcome on arrival was amazing. Such a nice couple, couldn’t do enough for us. Even moved their car to allow us to park our motorbike in a safe place. The room was large, the bathroom was large, both very clean. We were given access to living area, and told to feel at home, even could make noise and welcome our friends who were staying at a nearby hotel. Super clean and breakfast was excellent. Thank you 🙏 so much to a lovely couple, they’ve got it 100% right.

It was a lovely stay, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The breakfast was all locally sourced and delicious.

Extensive breakfast with local products, fresh orange juice,... The room was a good size with easy chairs to relax in and a comfortable bed. It was a quiet environment, lots of walking opportunities. Possibilities to eat out in walking distance

Perfect accommodation

Everything was perfect, from the spacious comfortable bedroom to the accommodating nature and grace of the hosts. Vresse itself is situated in the Ardennes, which is just beautiful. Good walking starts from just outside the accommodation.

Great hosts. Ready to help you and answer your questions but not obtrusive. We stayed only for one night but the host still took his time to explain everything. Room was spaceous and comfortable. Great garden to sit back in the evening and have a beer or glass of wine. Breakfast was also nice and fresh with local products / ingredients.

Conplete package of location and gracious hosts!

Lovely hosts taking the time to show you around and make you at home. We enjoyed the big breakfast with local products on the terasse outside. Spacious room with theme "La Foret" and the absolute best mattress. With 2 large windows the room cooled down nicely at night for sleeping. The location of Taos is perfect for hot weather with the garden path bringing you to the river in seconds and to the swimming area. The town is tiny but offers restaurants. A short car ride away other villages offer further choices. The hosts offer a lot of tourist information, maps etc so you can make the most of your stay.

Une parenthèse de repos pour repartir en randonnée ressourcés

L'accueil et la présentation par les propriétaires dans cette maison d'hôtes est parfait ! Le salon est propice à la détente, les suppléments boissons proposés dont à des tarifs très acceptables. La literie est très confortable après une journée de randonnée éprouvante. Le petit déjeuner avec des produits locaux bien choisis est excellent. Je reviendrais.

L'accueil était chaleureux, la maison très propre. La chambre, décorée avec attention et goût était confortable avec une salle de bain privative. Tout est très bien pensé, il y a un bar à disposition. Marc et Agnès sont des personnes très sympathiques, aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner était excellent avec des produits locaux et faits maison. Je recommande +++.

Prachtig gerestaureerde ardense woning, grote tuin, zeer net. Vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Vrij gebruik van de gemeenschappelijke living. Honesty bar met matige prijzen.

De B&B was goed en rustig gelegen. Gastheer deed veel moeite om nederlends te spreken en was zeer vriendelijk. Prachtige tuin tot aan Semois. Mooie kamer en voortreffelijk ontbijt.

Très beau jardin avec accès direct à la Semois. Excellent petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux. Gentillesse des hôtes.

Comme idée d'amélioration, un petit frigo dans les chambres, pour y pouvoir y stocker un peu d'eau et/ou quelques produits locaux à ramener chez soi.

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Agnès et Marc ont été aux petits soins pour nous du début à la fin. Le gîte est spacieux, joliment décoré et très propre. Un bar est à disposition. Le jardin est vaste et équipé de plusieurs transats, bien agréable pour y prendre l’apéro. La chambre est propre et confortable et possède sa propre salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Le gîte est bien situé, la Semois passe au fond du jardin, juste un champ à traverser. La région est magnifique. Bref, nous recommandons ces chambres d’hôtes les yeux fermés !
