Beautifully presented and so comfortable
Gym wasn’t really a gym… weights weren’t enough for me

Outstanding historical place and amazing room (we got the junior suite)

From the moment we arrived, the staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and well laid out, which made it easy to relax and feel comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great lots of choices and everything was very good.
The hallways between the rooms are quite hollow, so you can hear people passing by or talking, which can be a bit loud at times. That said, the overall experience was so good that it didn’t really take away from the stay.

Beautiful building, well maintained and great location to go into town. Nice touches in room complimentary drinks and guide book. Staff were great , breakfast was substantial and tasty.

The location was good for being quiet but an easy walk to the centre.
The room was nice and spacious, with separate lounge area and a lovely view from the bedroom.
Breakfast was very good in choice.
We decided to go for the updated room, which was lovely, however I don’t think any kind of room maintenance checks have been performed for some time; sink tap had seen better days, door handles throughout were coming off the doors, walls were scratched, chips etc. Rather disconcerting was liquid in the WC room not sure if there was a local leak.
It felt rather transaction from a staff perspective, not a very warm welcoming, but at least they had someone there upon checking. When we checked out I was going to highlight the above, however they run the place with minimal staff and they were attending to breakfast still, we were on the clock so needed to leave so simply dropped the key back.

I had such a pleasant and relaxing time here! The room was a wonderful surprise—more spacious than anticipated, with a spotless bed and a fantastic, hot shower. Kicking off the stay with a welcome Leffe beer was a perfect way to unwind. And the buffet breakfast, with the added luxury of Cava, truly exceeded all expectations. I can't recommend this place enough for a cheerful getaway.
The hotel requires an uphill walk, which is important for walking travellers to know. The room was in a separate building from the check-in area, and clearer instructions on how to find it would have been helpful.

Very clean & staff polite & helpful
Evening meal was only available in a linked casino some distance away. On arrival at said casino we then had to ‘register’ using our passports ( a long drawn out affair) to gain admittance. When attempting to pay for the meal our credit card was declined by the card terminal as it transpires that UK law does not permit uk credit cards to be used in gambling establishments - we fortunately had enough cash to pay the bill !

Great large rooms, Leffe museum on site and good breakfasts. No restaurant on site but plenty walkable distance if you are fit. The hotel is slightly away from the town up a hill, fine if you are fit.

Fascinating and historical building with superb views. Spacious room with high quality bathroom. Amazing spread for breakfast.
Air conditioning running very noisily on arrival and control in room didn't appear to work. Temperatures were comfortable so staff switched off power which solved problem.

- Nice location to have a great view of the city.
- Breakfast was super nice.
- Everything is literally within 10 minutes walking distance.
- Very old place turned into hotel, which makes super amazing.
I liked all, since it's a older building sometime other people's walking noise might disturb, but it's not really a big issue.

Location and outlook of the property is fantastic. Rooms are spacious and also the breakfast was excellent.
Toilet is separate to bathroom is good but it was rather small.

The location is fantastic, you have a great view of Dinant. Being a former monastery it has a special feeling. We have been offered complimentary drinks at the outdoor bar that has the same fabulous view. The room was gigantic. We were a family of 3 and we could choose which bedroom to sleep in.
Nothing in particular. Maybe the color scheme of the bedroom was on the dark side which made the overall apartment dark.

Very nice and modern rooms, in the old style of the “Abdij”.

Everything was as we expected from the place after seeing various reviews and feedback. Lots of parking. The room of decent size and very simple. The breakfast was fine. The staff were overwhelmed with visitors, but very courteous. We would stay again here if we are back to Dinant.
Though we were booked in the new building, the room seemed rather worn and already needed some better maintenance.

The breakfast was excellent, a wide variety of cold cuts and cheeses, also cooked bacon, omelettes, good choice of bread rolls and bread, fruit, jams, tea coffee, orange juice etc in fact everything one needs! The complimentary voucher for a Leffe beer was also very welcome and the bar and hotel is in such a lovely old historical building!
The shower was above the bath, with a Perspex partition at the side of the bath to stop the water leaking onto the floor…..unfortunately the partition didn’t work very well and water leaked all over the floor of the bathroom. Other than that everything was great!

The property is beautiful, and in a great location not too far to walk into the centre or the riverside. The breakfast selection was great and had everything we needed to start the day. The design of the rooms are great in the new building, would definitely recommend staying here to people.
Very small comment on the soundproofing of the rooms, wasn't the best as the corridor outside is very echoey.
We also had someone come to our room when we just arrived to ask if our glasses and cups were clean, makes you question if the rest of the room had been cleaned correctly.

Nice cozy room with a beautiful view outside the window. The room was decorated on special request without any extra charges and they also gave beer and glasses for free to take home. It was a part of decoration.
We liked everything.

We got a family room with 4 separate rooms and 2 bathrooms inside. The complimentary things in the rooms were given generously and each of us got a coupon to play in the casino worth 25 euro each. We were also satisfied with the breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.
There's no air conditioner in our room and somehow it was quite hot for my children that night. It would be perfect it there's air conditioner in each room for summer time. The communal room is OK without air co.

Breakfast room and meal was excellent. Pleasant bar in rear of hotel managed by Leffe. Room was large, but bathroom was tired. Mattress was only adequate....thin pillow top.
No AC and room was stifling....some rooms had AC, but we weren't given a choice?
Gravel parking lot between buildings, and marginal view of village but no choice given of rooms.

location, nice rooms in old monastery and excellent breakfast and save storage for the bikes and very helpful staff
we were with a group of MTBikers and could not wash our bikes and had to book an extra room in order to have a shower on check out day.

- The location was great and away from the hustle and bustle of town.
- very unique stay
- their is air conditioning
- the shower was awesome
- beds were comfortable
- breakfast was pretty good
- the air cons really smelt and could do with a deep clean. When you'd enter the room, you're hit with a sewerage smell which I'm sure is from the air con vents. You do get used to the smell though!

A huge slab of a building that looks down over the picturesque town of Dinant, with its bustling life wedged into a gorge astride the darkly attractive River Meuse. Ultra comfortable bed in our third floor room in an annexe to the main building. Thankful for a lift - and for the welcoming complimentary Leffe beer. We had a partial view of the river and town and good free parking. Decent breakfast choices set us up for a proper exploration of Dinant with its many historical connections, most notably the horrors it suffered at the start of the First World War. Tip: don’t bother driving up to the town’s mighty citadel because entry fee will still include return cable car ride there.
We missed having air-con on a steamy June night, but there were three big windows to cool the place. Bathroom was nice and roomy, but showering in a bath that dipped and creaked with every motion was unsettling - and no shower mat (also, no towels till we rang down for them, but reception guy swiftly remedied that, while also having to check in guests and handle the Leffe merchandise sales). Leffe is everywhere! As well as the small museum devoted to it, there are posters, cabinets full of T-shirts, baseball caps, beer glasses and the whole range of Leffe beers. The monks who started brewing it here all those centuries ago might or might not approve.

An amazing old convent building, converted into a hotel some time ago, but with a rather creepy charm in its Gothic styling. Comfortable room, very good value for Belgium, and a superb spread at breakfast. Safe, easy parking. The view over Dinant is stunning, and it was an easy walk to the Cafe Ardennais opposite the rail station, a great recommendation from the receptionist.
A little shabby in places, but nonetheless charming.
