Dream stay in Dinant

A very nice place to stay in Dinant. The location is incredible, better than I realised. Very central and beautiful, surrounded by everything you need. The room was quite simple but nice and big. The house was lovely and we were able to cook easily! The communication was fast and very helpful too.

If you're very sensitive to sound, the sound of the pipes and pool bar across the road might bug you - but I just wore my earplugs and that worked. The host did graciously offer us a bedroom facing the river instead of the mountains which I imagine was a bit quieter.

Awesome place with great view.

The owner is very accommodating. The property is beautiful with the view of the water and the citadel. Very convenient location. I will loved to book this place if I come to Dinant again and stay longer. My daughter had an accident we made a little mess and he was so understanding about it. He is the best. I will recommend this place to my friends and family.

Great location and served the purpose ok

Communication was excellent, central location, functional for our purpose.

No air con was difficult. It would help to have 2 more hooks on the wall by the sink. Stains on extra blankets was a bit yucky. Beds weren't comfy but all in all tolerable:)

Ideal location with a beautiful view of the river and just a few steps from Café Leffe.

The staircase can be a bit treacherous – be sure you can keep your balance!

Good budget accommodation in a superb location

Good budget accommodation in a superb location in the heart of beautiful Dinant. Room was basic but clean and represented good value for money. Plentiful hot water and tea and coffee downstairs in the communal kitchen

The steep metal staircase could be challenging for some. Was fine for me personally.

Wonderful

The property was super clean and in an excellent area close to everything. The host was super nice and very attentive to our arrival. Easy to talk to. Having nice coffee in the morning was great. I would recommend this property to anyone. You need a guest book so we can leave you nice messages.

Good value for money and ample privacy

Location is amazing and central to all necessities and attractions. IT has a view of the water and the famous Dinant sign. The private bathroom was also really convenient.

The shower water pressure and temperatures were very tricky. The curtains were also a bit too small and could not fully block out the window for outside onlookers or the morning sun. These are easy fixes and can be worked around.

Only gave 2 small pillows For each room Sheets were wore down and looked old , but were clean Parking was really hard to find We had to park 2 blocks away

central location for a short stay

The location is excellent and it was easy to park nearby in Easter time. The shared kitchen was in good conditions and had everything needed. The host was responsive and helpful.

The bed in one of the rooms (nr 1) was uncomfortable for an elderly person. The kitchen is on the ground floor and there are 3 upper floors with rooms, depending on the people sharing the house the noise level can be quite high if people go upstairs talking in the mildle of the night.

Some working points

To get from the ground floor to the 1st floor, the stairs were dangerous without the banister. It would be nice 9f there would be more tv channels in dutch, english, spanish, italian, german. For a bed and breakfast, make sure there is breakfast available or a coupon for discount to breakfast in a nearby establishment...
