We loved Dinant and would stay at this apartment again.

The location was great, and the apartment was clean. It was just what we needed for 1 night.

The address was hard to find. We were looking for a sign with the name on it. The heat did not work in the one bedroom. The owner offered to compensate us, but we declined. He acknowledged what we told him and said he will look into it. He was very friendly and helpful when we met him in the morning. He gave great history and information about the town.

Good for the money.

Room was clean & nice and the heater was working.

The building was a bit old; someone had puked on the carpets, and the stairs were a bit scary, especially if you have a kid. There was a couple who were drunk, and they sang songs for hour on Saturday night, but no one asked them to shut up and go to their room as there's no management in the facility. I never saw a receptionist, so I left the city tax on top of the table as instructed (bring some cash—not much, but required!). They sent us PIN numbers for the electronic door locks, but the PINs were disabled before we left the facility.

Location, Location, Location!

This apartment really had the WOW factor - the view overlooking the Maas and the beautiful buildings of Dinant was spectacular; the location was ideal, being close to restaurants, shops and supermarket. Communication from the owner was excellent and made everything work really well. We loved our stay - it was truly awesome!

Nice stay in Dinant with beautiful views from the window

Location is in the center of Dinant. Beautiful river view from our window. Lots of cafes restaurants nearby. Check in and check out was easy. Hair dryer was also provided :)

Coffee machine wasn’t working properly, it was dripping strange. Better to replace it. There was noise in the night, though it was suppose to be soundproof… maybe from the street or bar but it stopped around 12. So no biggie.

A lovely town, with the property in a fantastic location . A fabulous stay.

A great location, A nice clean room with all amenities as advertised, and very good value. Cheap parking available nearby. Sebastian gave great communication and their linked café below provided lovely refreshments.

Sadly, the access to the rooms is only via some steep stairs so not good if you have accessibility issues. But it was fine for us.

Great location

No staff there but Sebastien responded quickly to a phone call when we had an entry phone issue. Easily sorted and all contacts via messaging previously were satisfactory. Location is good right on the river and a 3 minute walk back to the Citadel and bridge. Plenty of restaurants nearby although a lot were closed when we visited at the end of September. Massive room with a great view of the river on the 3rd floor. Be aware there is no elevator if you have heavy cases or elderly guests though. Well equipped kitchen area with some tea/coffee left to get you started. The beds were clean and comfortable and it was nice having the lounge area.

The weather! It was heavy rain all the time we were there.... To be picky the place is getting a bit tired maybe? Wobbly banisters, sticking doors and loose door handles wouldn't be hard to fix and would improve the room. The paint was fresh but things like the broken tatty seals on the shower screen were noticeable. It wouldn't stop me staying there again but would certainly improve the place if addressed. Maybe the host should spend 20 minutes walking round the room as if he was a guest and trying all the doors and asking himself if he would be happy with them? Good info sent via messaging from Sebastien regarding finding the front door and parking - just make sure you read it before you enter Dinant (we didn't)! The door is right opposite the statue of Adolphe Sax sitting on his bench but it can be hard to stop there. On street parking can be hard to find nearby - we drove around the block 3 times before we managed to find a good spot in an underground car park about 100 yards away on the riverfront. Green zone parking is free between 5pm and 9am next day and cheap at other times.

THERE IS NO PARKING AT PREMISES (main reason I booked this was free parking possibility). You need to find parking on streets by yourself. It's free from 17 to 09, but still. Apartment is falling apart :)

Great central location just a stone throw away from all the facilities and attractions. Easy access to the accommodation with clear instructions received from the owner.

Disappointing, property details inaccurate. Great views though.

Self-check in was easy, code provided via email. Floors had been swept. Beds were comfortable. Location is great.

Furniture was old and dirty. Blue suede couch was brown and shiny in spots from wear and age. Dining table chair cushions were torn. Coffee maker flooded water all over the kitchen counter. No hand soap provided in bathroom or kitchen. No curtains provided at huge windows across entire wall facing river so the afternoon and evening sun, on the hottest day of the year, super-heated the entire apartment. Contrary to Booking.com details, there is no a/c in this suite but there are 2 pedestal fans that can be moved into the bedrooms at night to push around the hot air. Hotel-specified details of 'hardwood or parquet flooring' are a lie, it is cheap vinyl that sags and creaks. Free toiletries? Well, there's wall-mounted shampoo and shower gel, which is nice but not a substitute for hand soap. Not the hotel's fault, but there was an unfortunate-looking spill (vomit??) in the stairwell on our departure, so another resident sometime overnight had caused a mess and it still hadn't been cleaned up by 10am. Cable tv channels? Maybe, but we couldn't get any reception on the tv. All in all, this was ok for the one night we needed to spend on route to our final destination. I would have been complaining in person if we were staying longer as the suite didn't live up to the details provided on the website.

Excellent location, rver views..

Location. The apartment is situated under the Citadel and across the road from the Adlophe Sax statue and museuum. The view from the apartment is fantastic, with plenty hapoening to keep us amused.

The stairs are not for the faint-hearted! We were on the top floor so a lot of stairs to reach our magnificent viewpoint.

One of my favourite places in Belgium to spend the night,

Was a last minute reservation already quite late at night. Stayed here before and again I slept like a baby. Waking up to the views over the river is incredible. Rooms are incredibly spacious, clean + the comfort of a kitchenette if you have use for that. It's my favourite place to stay in the Ardennes.

Parking got a bit more complicated, but that is just a minor inconvenience and outside of the owners control. Pro tip: you can pay in advance before you go to bed and the ticket is still valid the following morning - think it was €2 till 11:00 AM. So you don't have to worry about parking tickets.

Property pretends to be hotel but is locked apartment with no reception. We were not able to enter and had to stay at different hotel. Gentleman who answered phone was rude and not helpful. No parking for bicycles.

Amazing location, it is very centrally located. Being able to open up the big bay windows and look out over the river was blissful.

The building is just very old. It's understandable, but comes with challenges: poor water pressure, saggy/creaky floors, etc.
