Comfy apartment in historic building, surrounded by attractive countryside

Charming apartment conversion in historic building with welcoming host, Belgian beer in warm sunshine, excellent walks from doorstep in local nature area to deep river-valley passes stone farms and old church.

Unique European countryside experience with a great host.

Melanie is a great host, took extremely good care of us. The place in the countyside itself is an experience and value for money. We stayed at a duplex which was spacious, airy and clean, with a fully functional kitchen and bathroom. Overall, this was a great experience for us.

It is actually a bit remote from Dinant and if you do not have your own transport and short on time, , it striffles your Dinant attractions a bit. Although Melanie is always helping with her pick and drops from the city at a very reasonable rate, she has her own constraints as she has to run the set up and cater to the on premises guests as well.

Perfect for a relaxing vacation!

The breakfast was perfect. Homemade marmelades and cookies, fresh orange juice and as much coffee as you want. The hosts were very friendly and had always a smile on her face. If you don´t know where to go for Dinner in the Dinant area, ask them. They have some really good recommendations! The village is beautyful and very quiet. Hiking from the Gite to the river Lesse is an adventure you should not miss. We´ll be back!

Beautiful setting for a visit to the Belgian countryside, close to Dinant.

Beautiful setting within 10 minutes of Dinant. Very friendly hosts who have created sleeping spaces that are very clean and well supplied. The village is very quiet with beautiful, old farm houses, and the property has tables outside where you can sit and have a beer or glass of wine. The breakfast is well worth the additional 14 euros, made freshly with local ingredients.

A down-to-earth homely and comfortable country place with welcoming hosts.

Friendly and attentive hosts. Very comfortable beds, absolutely quiet. An excellent breakfast cooked to order with fresh orange juice. Fresh fruit salad, local yoghurt, wonderful baguette, home-made jams. We had asked for a meal for our arrival and this was great home cooking. Fairly wide range of wine and drinks available.

Some of the rooms are only approachable by a steep staircase - this would not be suitable for the infirm or after too much wine...

Breakfast was delicious. Our room had a separate bathroom with toilet and tub. The room was filled with light. We also had a television. Beautiful little front garden to have a drink at night.

Everything was absolutely pretty. The hosts are very nice people, they cooked an affordable, delicious dinner for the guests. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and the countryside is a dream. There really isn't anything else I could have wished for. I would love to go back sometime.

The hosts are very friendly, and provide an exceptional service. The building itself is old, but the rooms are nice and clean, bathroom freshly renovated. Breakfast is very tasty, wide range of selections and they think about sustainability so preorder is needed to only prepare what is necessary.

beautiful, clean, spacious, provides lots of value, very kind hosts/owners, hiking on walking distance, big rooms, dog friendly, crazy good breakfast!

this is more my issue and a very minor issue, they provided lots of pillows, but the head pillows were either too high or way too low, so had some trouble sleeping (on my sides). again my issue and I didn’t ask if they had a medium height pillow. when I did fall asleep, I slept like a baby, dark and quiet room was bliss

The building and tiny village are very charming, the hosts were so kind and seemed to have thought of everything, the breakfast was delicious, after breakfast, you can walk out the door and begin a magnificent hike.

This is a beautiful quiet place to stay, we actually were on our way home from Alsace so could only stay one night but would loved to have stayed longer. We can highly recommend the dinner, ours was fabulous served in the garden. The staff were really lovely and very attentive.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a large room. It was very quiet. There was a kitchen to use if we needed. we wished we had booked dinner, although a short drive to Dinant for food was great. Breakfast was fabulous. We could have a drink in the evening.
