Nice room

The bar and restaurant were closed so there was nothing to drink or to eat. I had to go out to eat or drink something.

Superb

The location right on the Place. You needed to open the windows to have a good view of the church and the town centre as the lower glass panes are opaque. But still great! The town of Rocroi is historically very interesting, with its star shaped fortifications, and many buildings looking as if they date back to when it was garrisoned by troops. I had no idea it was so unusual and interesting.

Tea/coffee in room would have been nice. Otherwise all good.

Great bed in superb location

Best location for a visit of the old town. Lovely view from room 8. Comfortable beds. Super friendly reception.

No A/C and no coffee/tea in the room. No restaurant choices in the old town. Stuck to kebab or pizza if you're looking to eat in the area. Wifi was somehow very slow on my phone, but worked ok on my wife's.

Séjour inexistant puisque nous n’avons pas pu y dormir

L’hôtel était fermé pour cause de travaux et nous étions à la rue un 25 décembre , nous avions reçu une confirmation de réservation, c est inadmissible de pouvoir réserver une chambre dans un hôtel fermé pour la semaine .

Bon emplacement, on espère qu'après les travaux l'hôtel sera confortable et accueillant...

Pas de petit déjeuner, car en travaux. Bruits de travaux. Eau chaud très lente à obtenir. Déco surannée... Cela aurait été sympa d'avertir sur Booking que le petit déjeuner n'était pas proposé, contrairement à ce qui était annoncé.

Le petit déjeuner copieux et la gentillesse du patron et du personnel.

Notre réservation n'était pas connue ni le paiement nous nous sommes donc retrouvé dans une chambre mansardée sans chauffage ni eau chaude. Le nouveau propriétaire n'était pas au courant de notre réservation. Je comprend très bien que n'ayant reçu aucun paiement il rfuse de nous donner une chambre gratuitement .Nous avons du faire intervenir un élu local poir avoir cette chambre de bonne. A sa décharge le nouveau propriétaire n'était en rien responsable.

Goed hotel in hart van dorpje.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en schone kamer. Het dorpje heeft een interessante historie, maar is helaas wat vervallen. Prima hotel op weg naar zuid-Frankrijk. Goede prijs-kwaliteit.

Une belle étape dans une des plus petites villes de France.

La situation sur la Place d’Arme au cœur de cette ancienne place forte. Un chouette point de chute á deux pas de la Forêt, du Lac des Vieilles Forges et de la vallée de la Meuse. Un bel accueil et bon confort.

Très beau hôtel bien situer sur la place de rocroy, boulangerie bar tabac et pharmacie a proximité. Les gérants sont très gentils. La literie et les équipements de la chambre sont plus que top

Matig verblijf, laten kansen liggen

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, de kamer was schoon.

Het hotel oogt aan de buitenkant vriendelijk en uitnodigend, maar binnen is alles wat armoedig. En er wordt weinig moeite gedaan om het gezellig te maken: zo stond in de ontbijtruimte ook een strijkplank en te strijken was. Hele slechte zaak vind ik de verwijderde brandmelder terwijl er -in tegenstelling tot de afspraken- op diverse hotelkamers gerookt wordt. Wij waren er van zaterdag op zondag. Buiten was forse geluidsoverlast van dronken mensen met harde muziek en een trompet. Daar kan het hotel niet zo veel aan doen natuurlijk, maar het verblijf werd er niet veel beter op.

Accueil très agréable. Beaucoup de gentillesse pour aider et satisfaire le client. Attention délicate ( il faisait très frais, le chauffage avait été mis pour notre confort , il fut bien agréable de rentrer dans une chambre chaude)

Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Hotel ligt aan leuk plein in interessant vestingstadje. 's Nachts heel stil, kerklok slaat dan niet. Kamer wel ruim met uitzicht op plein en kerk. Frans ontbijt, kwaliteit goed. Voordelige totaalprijs. Er is vlakbij een goede pizzeria met uitgebreide kaart.

Inrichting niet gezellig. Stof op meubilair. Koud in ontbijtruimte. Veel aangeplakte briefjes met verboden en verzoeken. Brandmelder op kamer was verwijderd.

Un bon plan à prix raisonnable à 2 pas de la Belgique

Hôtel très propre et très clair. Chambre spacieuse. Lit confortable, salle de bain correcte avec WC séparés. Propriétaire très sympa et aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner copieux salé-sucré.

Il manque un mode d'emploi des 2 télécommandes TV. Je n'ai pas réussi à obtenir une chaîne. Attention pour personnes à mobilité réduite: pas d'ascenseur.

La situation

Arriver dans une chambre glaciale sans chauffage avec 13 degrés à l’extérieur j’avais prévenu de l’heure de notre arrivée 2 h avant ! Petit déjeuner correct mais pas pour 14€
