Clean and spacious room for our family

-The swimming pool was very cold and there is no towels down there -The restaurant (dinner and breakfast) is understaffed so very poor performance -For a new hotel, it needs already a lot of care in some places

Comfortable beds, well furnished modern rooms and a small indoor pool. Shop directly opposite hotel has groceries and fresh food.

There is no rail station in the town, so reliant on infrequent buses, and difficult to find restaurants open midweek. A few minor problems with service, eg having to renew room cards every day, but staff generally very helpful.

Perfect location

Service in the bar - not friendly staff. Old pillows, dead mosquitoes on the walls in the room, dirty bottle with water… problems with the parking - machine doesn’t work correctly- we lost a lot of time - when we received the ticket but there was not empty spot for us and we needed to maneuver in the narrow parking to go out from there…

The hotel is in a super nice location and there is a lot to do with kids. We were there in winter and would definitely come back in spring or summer. The pool was never overcrowded and the kids corner was nice. The room was perfect, with a bunk bed for the kids a bit separate from the rest of the room.

The menu and food of the restaurant was disappointing. The kids menu was absolutely sad with no healthy options at all. I had a burger and it was so badly cooked. We ordered gin tonics and a bottle of red wine. We got the gin tonics and then the food also immediately arrived. Hence, we cancelled the order of the red wine. In the first place, they did not have a classic Côtes du Rhône, which was on the wine list...?! When we finally wanted to pay, it took over 20 minutes for the bill to arrive. I could go on about how bad the service was, with no senior around at all, no proper timing on the order or the service of the order. The breakfast was boring and nothing was fresh. It was super disappointing. While the choice of sweet (industrial) pastries etc. was plenty, there was very little choice of cheese (and you could see where the cheese got dry from having been plated for a long time (you know when you take off a slice and it is brighter underneath?), fruit, vegetables etc. It was the same everyday with some weird combinations like soggy courgette with beans and sausage. Not even on New Years day did they serve anything special for breakfast. There was also no snack food served in the lobby. It would be great to come back from a walk or seeing the surroundings and have a small snack in the lobby. They only serve bitterballen and some random cheese cubes. One would expect at least a club sandwich with some fries or so... While the swimming pool was easy to access and not crowded, it was clear why. The water was super cold, so that even the kids did not want to stay in long. Advertising as a family hotel, it would be nice if the water was warmer and hence more enjoyable for everyone.
