The place was really nice and the lady in charge was fantastic.

Friendly, picturesque and comfortable

The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful valley alongside a babbling brook. From here you can walk to Laforet through beautiful woodlands. It’s perfect especially if you have a dog like us.

Its location, and tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed.

Lovely remote hotel in beautiful forest, will be back.

Lovely hotel in grounds with picturesque river running through grounds. Rooms were quiet, clean, spacious, comfortable. Perfect if with dog. Forest roads leading to hotel are wonderful giving real feeling of seclusion. Perfect stopover en route to the Alpes. Well priced and owners very helpful.

The restaurant run by the Hotel is a 3km drive. Not really much of an issue as food was great, drive was easy to follow and restaurant in lovely town I wouldn’t otherwise have seen. Nothing not to like really.

1 night in the beautiful region

The hotel is located in a very green and quiet spot, with a nicely maintained garden and with many trails passing nearby to explore the forest. There is also little traffic on the road and little noise from outside Furniture and bathroom were good too. We liked the breakfast

Despite a very quiet location it was difficult to have a relaxing sleep, as walls are very thin and you literally hear everything that happens in the corridor and in the neighboring rooms (voices, doors, water in the bathroom…) Their restaurant is located in a village 5-10min away, for us it was not a problem but for some it may be inconvenient

Lovely windmill hotel

The hotel is a renovated old windmill in a lovely valley with a river. Wonderful location and nice service and breakfast. The restaurant in the town is also very good.

Htl being refurbished,a number of things could be improved.Impossible to turn off light in ward robe e.g.Light infiltrated in bedroom. Staff shortage shows. Htl being very isolated,initiatives to attract more guests and activelt entertain them wd pay off.

I wanted an overnight stay that was quiet, comfortable, and had a good restaurant . It fulfilled.

The location is idyllic, on the edge of a forest and along a quiet road leading to the French border. The rooms are a good size and modern. The whole hotel has been decorated with good quality materials. Dinner was very good, with fresh Ardenne trout that were probably swimming in the hotel's trout pond only a few minutes earlier. Breakfast was typical for the Ardenne - bread and cheese - but with the addition of warm croissant and pain au chocolat, as well as a piece of fruit.

The mirror in the bathroom which was placed for giants. I could just see top of my head, not my forehead! Also, although I was only staying one night the lack of a surface to put a very small suitcase to unpack and still see into it.

Excellent hotel in beautiful forest area.

The hotel is on its own in very beautiful forested countryside showing amazing autumn colours. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the restaurant served good food and excellent wine.

Nothing - except the weather, but you can't blame the hotel for that!

Hôtel au calme, dans le très joli village de Laforet. Chambre très confortable et déjeuner au top. Point de départ de très belles balades. Nous recommandons et y retournerons sans aucun doute.

Une pause hors du temps dans un cadre magnifique

Le site est magnifique ainsi que le bâtiment et ses jardins. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, servi avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

Nous n’avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner le chauffage et l’humidité était énorme. Les chambres standard sont fonctionnelles mais sans originalité. Enfin une bouteille d’eau et une bouilloire auraient été les bienvenues

Le matelas était très confortable et il y avait un calme absolu pour dormir ! La chambre était très bien aménagée avec ses multiples prises de courant. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment excellent et particulièrement varié !

Je suis arrivée à 17h on m’a reçue en vitesse. Après quand j’ai voulu boire un verre en terrasse il n’y avait plus personne au bar ni à l’accueil😩 Par contre l’accueil au petit déjeuner était parfait 👍
