Perfect for out night stop on our way south, very close to motorway and yet a very lovely place to stay.

Let down by poor service in restaurant.

Location is very picturesque. This village conveniently situated on a well known cycling and touring route.

The stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow (this is an old property) and would not be suitable for all ages or abilities. But this property is really let down by the service in the restaurant for dinner. We had to wait 1 and half hours for our 2 main courses. A German couple at the next table had been waiting 2 hours at the time when we left the restaurant. It is important to note that the restaurant was not busy in terms of occupancy!

Short family stay under the Easter sunshine

Lovely place. Well situated with many activities close by. Everyone was kind and friendly and made our stay and evening at the restaurant most enjoyable. The food was fantastic. The spring sunshine led to sitting on the terrace watching the sunset - an added bonus!

A little gem in the middle of the countryside with delicious food!

Amazing B&B near Dinant center in the middle of the countryside. We booked the quadruple room with two beds. The room was clean and spacious and we liked the wooden details which makes it unique. The restaurant was very cosy with it’s fireplace during the evening and the food was amazing. The owner spoke several languages so he translated all the menus for us. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend Le Vieux Marronnier!

Beautiful furbished rooms and nice stuff.

They have their own beds which are made from full wood, they are very beatiful and comfortable. Actually the whole place is set up with love and I really liked the decoration.

Beetje muffe geur in de gang. Ontbijt was beperkt in de zin van dat het duidelijk afgemeten was dat elke persoon 1 koffiekoek en yoghurt kreeg. Beter deze dingen dan al op de tafel zetten.
