Nothing particularly outstandingly good but nothing bad either.

Good sized room . Comfortable beds. Shower good, but a little difficult to get heat right, either too hot or too cold. Fridge in room was useful where we kept milk for using the provided tea and coffee making facility. Breakfast we found adequate, unusual in that it lacked cereals although a nice omelette was provided with ham and cheese available as a filler. Coffee machine made a good coffee. Only a few rooms and only one or two other guests from time to time during our 6 night stay, so we were mainly left to our own devices although the room was maintain daily with clean towels as required along with the rubbish bin cleared etc. A previous review had noted poor WiFi but we found it very adequate including playing television programmes from various apps on our tablet. As a British couple this was just as well as the TV programmes provided by the room TV appeared to be all French or Belguim channels.

We were a elderly couple and the stairs to the bedrooms which were on the first floor were a little steep. The facilities promised an onsight restaurant but this appeared to only be available during "high"season although there was a fast food cafe a hundred yards up the road ,eat in or takeaway. A more fuller restaurant was further along the road but we did not sample it. A word of warning , the property had an estate agent sign "for sale" outside so the detail of service and facilities could be open to change.

Disappointing. Bar/Restaurant was closed without prior notice.

The rom itself was great, breakfast was fine

The restaurant and bar were CLOSED. We were not made aware of this before arriving, and it appears this happened a few weeks ago too. The bar and restaurant both form part of the marketing, the good food reviews were part of the reason that we chose here - we were looking forward to good food and a few beers onsite. That was not to be. The whole of the site was locked shut apart from the door into the B&B rooms. It was made clear to us that we had to keep this door locked even when we were there - the wife was not comfortable with this, there was a large impromptu collection of camper vans, etc on the other side of the road, some kind of rock climbers meet, music 'til late, etc. We assume that was the reason for keeping the place locked tight.

Good value stay on the outskirts of Dinant

Peaceful country location a few kms from Dinant. Huge family room. Perfectly clean.

We were disappointed to find that the restaurant was unexpectedly closed for dinner on both nights of our stay, especially as this was not mentioned on the booking site or the restaurant’s own website. One of the main reasons we chose this accommodation was for the restaurant. The owner kindly suggested two nearby alternatives, but unfortunately, one was also unexpectedly closed and the other was a casual hamburger café, which did not meet our expectations.

We had a wonderful time.

The location was a short distance from the center of Dinant. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The attention given to us from the owner and staff was superb. The food was delicious.

Enjoyed the experience and especially the food, but was glad of the sat-nav.

The hotel took some finding, but the motel-style room was spacious (if a little faded). Dinner and breakfast were in the adjoining restaurant, and both were of high quality, served by friendly staff.

Most TV channels were unobtainable, and the bedroom floor was lino.

Pleasant

renovated rooms, lots of space.

Location is very far from everything. you need a car to get around. local bus connection once a day. the staff is more preoccupied with the restaurant than with guests. there is nothing around the hotel, no shops, no bike rental. would only recommend the place if you come with your own transport, otherwise you are stuck. Auberge is next to the highway, so it's quite nosiy.

Prima hotel op een paar kleine punten na.

Ontbijt goed. Locatie goed (bereikbaarheid en parkeren). Vanuit locatie mooie wandelroute. Ruime kamer goed. Sanitair goed. Prima matras.

1 persoonsbed had een kapotte lattenbodem. Hoofdkussen hard en veel te hoog. Tv werkte niet. Locatie aan drukke weg ((lawaai van verkeer).

Rustige nacht in ruime kamer

Mooie ruime kamer met goede badkamer met alle voorzieningen (aan veel gedacht: papieren zakdoeken, veel kleerhangers, ijskastje met drank, goed werkende verlichting, handdoeken en washandje...) Ook rustig gelegen.

Voor het ontbijt waren er (enkel) witte pistolets. Misschien willen sommigen toch ook bruin brood. Een speciaal kaasje van de streek zou ook leuk zijn. Baas was wel bereidwillig om een eiergerecht te maken.

Ausblick auf die Maas vom Wäldchen gegenüber. Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten. Hunde erlaubt.

Das Restaurant ist bis auf wenige Tage, an denen spezielle Events statt finden und für die reserviert werden muss, dauerhaft geschlossen, was eine riesige Enttäuschung für uns war, da wir das Hotel deshalb ausgesucht hatten. Es liegt direkt an einer Art Bundesstraße mit viel Verkehr und keinerlei Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkung. Außer einem Imbiss in der Nachbarschaft ist leider nichts fußläufig erreichbar.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft für einen Zwischenstopp

Die beiden Zimmer waren gegenüber liegend, Restaurant hatte zum Glück bei unserem Besuch geöffnet und das Essen war sehr gut.

Leider war das Zimmer mit 4 Betten, das wir als Eltern bezogen haben, bei booking.com nicht auswählbar und somit hatten wir für unsere Tochter ein separates Einzelzimmer gebucht. Die Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern ist sehr schmal und steil. Verständigung ohne Französisch ist schwierig.

Superheld voor je geld

Echt heel mooi hotel, enorm grote kamers en fijne douche. De eigenaar was echt heel erg vriendelijk. Het was rustig en ik had bijna heel het terras voor mezelf. Voor die prijs krijg je erg veel. Ontbijt was beperkt maar eitje werd vers gebakken. Naast hotel fijne frituur, daartegenover klein bospad wat je na paar meter enorm uitzicht geeft over de Maas. De minibar was goed gevuld en niet duur (2,50 voor koud bier)

Jammer dat je pas laat kunt inchecken.

De omgeving de rust

Dat de lakens van de vorige vakantieganger er nog oplagen. De lakens waren niet glad gestreken en ze roken niet naar gewassen lakens. Er waren zelfs nog lichaams plekken in de lakens. Dat is toch geen fijn gevoel om inte slapen we hebben onzen eigen badlakens gebruikt om op te slapen

E,nig minpuntje was dat we gedacht hadden om daar savonds nog iets te kunnen eten in het restaurant en nog iets te kunnen drinken in de bar. Restaurant en bar waren gesloten. Eigenaar heeft ons wel gezegd dat we 300m daar vandaan konden eten in een restaurant en iets drinken hebben we dan maar gedaan met een biertje uit de minibar op de kamer. We zijn dit gaan opdrinken in de tuin ,was zalig. Het aanbevolen restaurant was trouwens ook top !
