Palazzo Le Poste - Suite and Apartments

Spacious, well equipped modern apartment in a historic 17th century palace right in the centre of Parma. Very quiet as rooms look onto an internal courtyard. Comfortable bed, good bathroom.

Check-in at the distant Novotel is a pain. Suggestion to make it easier : If coming by car I recommend parking in the large underground (well lit, clean) Parcheggio Toschi: park at the furthest end from the entrance. You will emerge in the Palazzo Pilotta museum complex and the Palazzo delle Poste is directly in front of you, a 5 minutes walk away (photo attached). If you are two or more people, one should then wait with your bags near the Poste building (there are several pleasant places in the same street where you can sit and have a drink) while the other person schleps the km up the main road to the Novotel to pay the tourist tax and get the keys. If you are alone (like me) leave your bag in the car unless it is very light.

Best place to stay, perfect location

Cleanliness and location

Nothing

The property is very nice, recently refurbished in a very convenient location in the center. The suite was clean although in 3 it lacks a bit of space.

Main things for which I am not giving an higher score are: 1) the air conditioning system. We were here in mid of May and lucky enough to find decent sunny wheatear, however it gets way hotter than this and considering the main bed is in the second floor under the roof it gets very hot. The system installed for regulating the temperature is definitely not enough and in summer I am sure this will become a little oven as I was already sweating in May 2) Considering the first point and also the comfort of the bed I slept very badly. I did not find the mattress comfy
