Such a shame we only stayed one night as Parma is a gorgeous place.

What a beautiful apartment in the old town. Beautifully renovated and had anything we needed.

The check in process is a little odd having to do this at Novotel. The security deposit is a little steep and the fact it can take up to two weeks to be returned

Lovely apartment in historic old centre

Lovely airy room overlooking courtyard just off the street and with view of a belltower. Double glazing and shutters meant that it was also very quiet. Beautifully and simply furnished. Very comfortable, large bed. Spacious bathroom. The building itself is obviously old (above or part of the old post office) but has been beautifully renovated to a high standard (presumably by Novotel who run these apartments). Lifts to upper floors. Location couldn't have been better - just a few minutes walk from the main museum complex in Parma and from the streets of cafes and restaurants.

A 100 Euro damage waiver is required on check-in at the local Novotel and our credit card was used for this with a promise that funds 'would be refunded within 14 days'. I'm not sure how this was supposed to work but I am unable to trace any payments either out of my account or in for this purpose. It seems that perhaps the card was only being authorised for this amount and then would only be debited if there was damage to the property, which there wasn't. It could be made clearer if this is the case.

Having stayed at this residence on several occasions, I was disappointed to be placed in an apartment that did not look like the photos of the apartment I thought I was reserving. For my previous stays, I had stayed in what I thought would be the same apartment, but it was not.

Fantastic apartment, in a perfect location, would happily stay again, but you pay to leave bags.

The room was huge, well laid out, and the fancy hidden kitchen were great. The room was very clean, modern and airy. The location could not be better you are right in the centre yet as the apartment was accessed from a courtyard it was so quiet, you would never have known you were in the centre. Location wise, you are no more that 5 or 10 minutes from everywhere, with a few very close great bars. We would recommend OsteMagno for a great board of meats, cheeses and breads for only 16 euro, and Poldo is right across the road.

The check in at the Novotel was fine as we arrived after the check in time, as you cannot leave your bags if you arrive early. They take a 100 euro deposit which I didn’t see when I booked. And finally when we checked out and went back to the Novotel (which really is less than a 10 min walk) to hold our bags till later in the day they wanted 5 euro a bag. This just ruined what was a beautiful apartment and great stay.. it just felt like silly penny pinching, we have never been asked to pay to leave bags before. .. yet they offer you a free transfer to the apartment ?. Disney make sense.

Pleasant but I will not rebook as I believe the defects are quite major

The property is very nice, recently refurbished in a very convenient location in the center. The suite was clean although in 3 it lacks a bit of space.

Main things for which I am not giving an higher score are: 1) the air conditioning system. We were here in mid of May and lucky enough to find decent sunny wheatear, however it gets way hotter than this and considering the main bed is in the second floor under the roof it gets very hot. The system installed for regulating the temperature is definitely not enough and in summer I am sure this will become a little oven as I was already sweating in May 2) Considering the first point and also the comfort of the bed I slept very badly. I did not find the mattress comfy

The best apartment stay during our Italy trip!

Location is perfect! Apartment is new and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and modern. Comfy pillows and king size bed. Laundry room with dryer is so convenient and easy to use.

TV channels are limited. Unable to sync YouTube or Netflix to TV. No dish washing liquid or kitchen linen.

Perfect high quality stay in the heart of Parma

Central, quiet street (in a renovate antique courtyard), few meters away from shopping street and restaurants. Very large room with separate table & kitchen area. Beautifully furnished, 2 (!) TV screens

Noise Insulation could be improved - voices and TV from other rooms could be sometimes heard. I used the microwave, but a kettle could probably be integrated in the kitchen supply, as it has e requested by many customers, and it is not a huge investment! The air conditioning was switching on randomly/ automatically- probably settings could be adjusted.

Excellent central location for a foodie introduction to Emilia-Romagna.

Great location in the heart of Parma. As we knew in advance, this location is a half mile from the main Novotel check-in / check-out desk, which is very close to the train station. But once we had moved our luggage in, we were within easy walking distance of everything else, including the departure point for our tour of local parmigiano-reggiano cheese, prosciutto, and balsamic vinegar production facilities, and many excellent restaurants. Great location for a foodie introduction to Parma.

There was a power outage, which dealt with promptly by Novotel's on-call maintenance man.

Good for 1/2 night stay

Location- a bit hard to find but in a really nice spot once you do. It’s spacious, good size bathroom & shower. Has an elevator ( handy if you’re travelling with heavy luggage)

Stayed in room 703- the air con & air flow in room is inconsistent. Ended up getting sick Side table broken, placed out of the way but needs to be replaced asap. Needs more natural light

The space, clean and great location! Friendly staffs. Room with only one window, but the lights in the apartment is very bright!

Bathroom edge looks moldy, just at the corner. Rest is clean! No cleaning detergent and items for the kitchen, makes cleaning the cups and plates difficult after using.

The accommodation is in a good location, the room was very spacious and was simple but well decorated.

There was no kettle so had to warm up the water in the microwave and was a little disappointed with the cleaning of the room. Noticed that you only make the beds and fold the towels. We had coffee the first night and left the cups in the sink, they stayed there for 2 days! You obviously don´t wash any dishes so had to make alternative solution. I have no problem doing the washing up but would appreciate you providing the cleaning products and tea towels for your guests as it is ridiculous to expect your guests to buy cleaning products for a few nights stay, especially when flying in from another country.

The location and the bed was good but not worth the value for what you get!

The Bed was very comfortable.

One part says pets allowed and below in the small letters says on request. Extra Euro 7,5,- for the dog was charged. Also Parking available in the hotel as you are not allowed to drive to the Flat. Additional Euro 18,- charged for one night parking. The complete building was to hot as well as the Apartment! After one hour not possible to stay in the flat without windows open. Not able to sleep as the air was too dry because of over heated rooms. For an available kitchen I could expect maybe a cooker and or even a little expresso device. Not available neither! At checkout there was not one questions asked about my stay. Parking ticket validated and that's it! For this chain you can really expect more service and quality.

Fantastic downtown stay in a very beautiful, modern and newly renovated place.

If you plan to visit Parma, this is a fantastic place. Apartments are located in a historical building right in the city center with a great choice of bars and restaurants round the corner. It is very modern, comfortable and beautiful and newly renovated and very clean. As you cannot go to the city center by car, there is a shuttle from the Novotel, where you can also leave your car. Out stay was fantastic and whenever back in Parma we would go there😀
