The location was good 10-15 mi utes by bus to the mail railway station on on the bus route to Seiser Alm which was spectacular. The bus stop just a 10min walk away. To get to the property from the main railway station you need to catch the number 8 bus from the same side as the railway station.
No cafe’s or shops around to buy food etc, the attached restaurant is only open from 8pm. We didn’t order breakfast as it didn’t start until I think it was 8pm then I believe it was only croissants and toast you will need to check that out. No kettle or coffee making facilities and with no purchase options locally I think that was pretty poor. When we ask about the bus to the property we were only told number 8 but we were not told which side to catch it from, caught it from the wrong side and it took over an hour to get to the property. Had we been told to catch the number 8 bus from the same side as the railway station we would have been there in 10 minutes, so from that perspective communication was poor.
