Cosy but noisy

Cosy room, central location in the historic center

You can hear eveything that’s going on in the street as well as guests going up the staircase which woke me up several Times

Location and interior design are both excellent

Amazing location with immediate access to all that Utrecht has to offer. I especially enjoy the ability to grab food at Soup-er downstairs (owned by the owners of these rooms). The room has some great quality finishes and the room has been recently remodeled with new appliances and bathroom items like the toilet and sink are perfect, high-quality items that fit the aesthetic of the building.

Older building, so be aware that the stairs are narrow and steep (typical Dutch stairs). Rooms with a King sized bed are actually two small twins that easily slide apart so you end up having to sleep on each side separately.

Charming lodging in great location, but with quirks that come with it.

The staff prepared an excellent gluten free breakfast. The location is in the old part of town and very convenient to restaurants and sites. the staff is friendly and helpful.

The lodging is in a historic building which limits certain elements for accommodation,ie handrails on winder staircase and bathroom size.

Nice and cosy with perfect location

Great location, stylish and clean room, friendly employees

Locked room for luggage of early arrivers missing (our luggage sat next to the hotel's restaurant bar for hours, certain risk of someone grabbing it in the hectics of the restaurant), handrails of very steep stairway could be placed more effective

Soup-er stay at Logement!

Super friendly staff, gorgeous room, great location near everything, comfy bed and pillows. Over the most fantastic soup shop. If staying you have to try it! Actually try it anyway!

A little gem of a place

Great location, breakfast was amazing, we are plant based and we were given a great selection

Great location

Location was great. The view from the room over the canal was great and the room was large.

Did not like that the toilet and shower were outside the room so everytime I used I had to lock my room and unlock the bathroom. There was a dead fly on the bathroom window sill for the entire stay (4 nights) and the door was left unlocked once, lights left on twice. The main bedroom received the full afternoon sun, there was no curtain or block out blind on the centre window panel which made room extremely hot and the one fan provided was not sufficient. Be prepared for the stairs.

Perfect location with friendly welcoming staff.

We loved our stay. The staff were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The history of the property and surrounds was so interesting and the location was perfect. We hope to return as we had a wonderful experience.

The room was beautiful and the location was perfect to enjoy the city and walk to the station

For a work visit is not the most confortable room. The table and chairs are more for have a snack in the room than for working.

Enjoyable stay

A lovely room in the heart of old Utrecht. Friendly service

It’s excellent central location is also a minus point. If you want peace and quiet, then here is not the place. You have the bells of the local tower through the day and night and the hum of the bars in the street below and revellers on their way home. Whilst this disturbed our sleep and rest, it did not outweigh the good location and comfort. Be aware the steep stairs are narrow and steep. Not easy to climb with a large suitcase.

A beautiful boutique stay

Beautiful room in a beautiful building. The location was great, although this did mean a bit of late night noise, which was to be expected - ear plugs were supplied 🙂. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the smell of the soup bar was wonderful.

Mother and daughter trip to our favourite city

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect for us…the location is canal side right on the doorstep of the Dom Tower. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were so warm and welcoming, the soup, coffee and pasties absolutely delicious and our room so clean and comfortable. We will be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the perfect location.

Location was absolutely perfect. Right in the centre of Utrecht but surprisingly quiet. Rooms were beautiful, unique decor, bed incredibly comfortable. The staff were lovely, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious especially the homemade pastries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Definitely need bigger towels and more English teabags! Shower was also a little erratic and the flush on the toilet not great.

Beautiful cafe, delicous food, friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed and warm room. Also, quiet for a saturday night on the oudegracht.

I didn't like that no staff were on site at night. It was a house full of strangers with locked rooms. Too much trust required for my taste.

Sweet boutique restaurant hotel exceeds expectations

We loved our time at this cute hotel/restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and kind. Walking in was always a delight because it smelled so good and the restaurant was always packed. The breakfasts were very good as well. The bed was huge and comfortable. I know it’s weird but the toilet was really cool and the bathroom itself was nice.

We couldn’t figure out how to make the heater work. But we were fine with the blankets and leftover heat from the day.

Lovely room (&food) with lovely staff in a fantastic location

Location was amazing. Room was very sweet. Liked having coffee and tea in room. Bathroom was updated and ver nice. I overlooked the street. It is loud at night due to the many cafes/restaurants, ducks and church bells. But so nice to have window open. There was a fan and an air conditioning unit in room. I did not need it. I had eaten lunch earlier in the day. Really enjoyed the soup and yummy bread. Breakfast was also delicious. I will stay again!

One of our favorite stays! It’s in a vibrant area in a historic building right on the main canal through the city. The lower level of the property is a wonderful cafe with the same owner so be sure to stop by for lunch as well.

Great location, super friendly and welcoming host and staff.

Great location, exceptionally close to the main tourist attractions, cafes and restaurants and a short walk from the train station. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous with fresh and tasty ingredients locally sourced, such as apple juice that actually tastes of apples. local cheeses, breads and fruits. I also recommend trying their soup for lunch.

It gets noisy at night, the downside of being in the centre of everything.

One of the best trips my wife and I have ever had

It is a bit different than the states in that you check in at the cafe counter and take a curved flight of stairs to your room. but we absolutely loved it. They are a vegan bakery so we would have hoped for few different menu items but with that being said there soups were magnificent and we loved it!
