Escape by the canal

I liked everything about the property! It was in a great location in the center. The apartment was big and spacious. It had all the facilities needed and very modern.

The only issue was there were stairs to go up and down to reach the apartment, this can be an issue if you have heavy luggage.

Truely majical

This apartment is finished to the highest standards. I travelled a lot for my work and this apartment matched any 5-star hotel i have previously stayed at. It's very quiet and super central to all Utrecht offers. I would have no hesitation recommending Loft 188 to anyone. Our hosts were amazing which only made our time here even more enjoyable.

A Fantastic Stay!

The decor and amenities in the apartment were fantastic! The location was as good as it could get right in the city center of Utrecht. Lots of kitchen supplies made it a perfect place for us to get groceries and have breakfast each morning. The hosts were fantastic. Thank you!

A charming place in a charming city

Perfect location right next to a canal in the center of Utrecht. Everything within walking distance. Friendly hosts that respond quickly and gave some great restaurant tips. Could not have found a better place than this and enjoyed every second of this stay.

A fabulous experience and would love to come and stay here again- one of my favourite accommodation experiences.

The location is fantastic and the unique style of accommodation was very pleasing. Communication was fast and we were met on arrival promptly and shown everything we needed to know. The apartment was beautifully presented, large and very clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay, including a little folding table and chairs to sit on the edge of the canal and watch the water traffic sail by each afternoon.

Exceptional and unique apartment in Utrecht. Perfect for a couple in ideal location

The unique design of the canal side apartment where we could sit out for coffee, wine, etc. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean with all the comforts needed including fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very, very comfortable and the apartment totally quiet at night at bedtime. Outstanding location in Utrecht--10 minute walk to train station for easy rides into Amsterdam and short walk to all restaurants and cafes. Hosts Bert and Claire were outstanding---communication prior to our stay was always very prompt and responsive. 10 stars to our hosts for their warm, friendly and kind hospitality. Do yourself a favor when visiting Amsterdam: ditch the crowded city for your stay and head to Loft 188 in Utrecht. I guarantee you won't regret it for one minute

I have always wanted to stay on canal by boats in Utrecht and this time I made it. Everything was clean, owner was very helpful. Perfect thing was, though you sleep right in the city centre, sleeping is silet.

Lovely people & apartment, watch our for steep stairs, pack v light, be healthy for snow on stairs

Host was wonderful and very hospitable. Very kindly took our bags to the apartment and gave us the tour. Second host (lovely wife of the gentleman we met) has wonderful taste in decor and the apartment is very tastefully done. Modern, clean and efficient. We are coffee-holics hence the coffee machine and kitchen supplies were very helpful especially as this was a working trip where a lot of studying and cramming was included so a good environment for that. Requested Bert for a taxi and he very kindly ordered one as a complimentary gift from him self for us. Very grateful for his hospitality and kindness.

Had tried to reach out to host many many times on our last evening there but did not get a response.

Very unique location, unlike anything else! The inside is spacious, contemporary, comfortable. Very close to restaurants, shops and city life as well as train station and parking garage. Owners are easy to communicate with, friendly and helpful.

Architektonisch einmalige Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist ein designtechnisches und architektonisches Kleinod- absolut wow! Sie befindet sich super zentral direkt an einer Gracht und ein ehemaliges Warenlager wurde auf höchstem Niveau umgebaut. Die Küche, der Wohnbereich, das Bad sind sehr großzügig und luxuriös- absolut toll.

Alsof je thuis komt.

Het was zeer comfortabel ingericht, heerlijk tijdens de koude dagen met de vloerverwarming. Een goed bed voor de nachtrust, een badkamer met een heerlijke douche en zelfs een bad. Aan de keuken ontbrak niets! In het midden van het oude centrum, maar als je in het appartement bent valt zo de drukte van de stad van je af, zeer centraal gelegen.
