Stay in a central hotel with character!

Super friendly staff, quirky old school rooms and a comfy bed. We loved it!

No aircon, which is probably mostly fine as Utrecht tends to be cooler, even in summer.

I am obsessed with this adorable boutique hotel. The styling is perfect! The room was spacious, loved the bathroom, a small garden out back to relax and the staff was so kind. The location is great too. 10/10 Highly recommend

Full of historic charm

The hotel is beautiful - it's in a lovely part of Utrecht, in a beautiful building, and has huge amounts of historic character nicely offset with some quirky modern touches. The rooms are fabulous, making the most of the old building's charm while providing great facilities such as comfy beds and great showers. The website is excellent and gives you a really good idea of what the rooms look like - although the photos make the rooms look smaller than they are! The staff are lovely too.

The carillon in the centre of Utrecht is very famous, but it chimes away on the hour, quarter past, half past, and quarter to, 24 hours a day, That can be quite annoying for light sleepers in the early hours of the morning. It must be the same for any hotel in central Utrecht. Hotel Beijers very thoughtfully provides ear plugs, which were useful.

We had to get used to ringing of the church bell every half an hour or so. After a day or so it faded into background.

Staff was curt, there was no open reception 24/7 as announced on the website, keys to front door of hotel didn't work, called off-site reception by phone but person on the line wasn't very helpful, basically telling me I should try harder, luckily another guest let me in.

Location is great, right at the center. Room was beautiful.

Extremely noisy. Windows are not sound proof, and noise did not stop (from people, but also bells from the church, all night long). Breakfast is very boring.

Beautifully recently restored character boutique hotel. Lovely super helpful staff. Really spacious room. Great location (but the clock on the clock tower chimes all night :(. Room air conditioned for summer

Overall, a unique and memorable stay full of character and charm.

The atmosphere was truly impressive — it felt like spending a night in a real medieval castle. The interior was stunning, with luxurious details, high ceilings, and authentic decor. The location couldn’t be better: right in the heart of the old town, next to the tower.

Since the building is historic, the floors creak a lot and sound travels easily — at times it felt like someone was walking right through my room. Thankfully, the staff thoughtfully provided earplugs.

Magical room in the centre of Utrecht

We stayed in the Superior Double Room and it was simply one of the most magical rooms we have ever stayed in at a hotel. With lots of wooden beams and a stunning view of the Dom Church, this room really enchanted us.

The breakfast is a little overpriced for what you get.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful city!!

This is a lovely hotel in the heart of the old center of Utrecht right near the Dom Cathedral, which beautiful. The people who work here are so nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. It is an historical building from the 1600’s and so quaint. The perfect place to stay!!

The rooms under a bridge with windows to the canal had their charm…

… but it was damp and humid in the rooms, so if you have allergies or asthma one should be aware.

Not at all what we paid for.

The room did not match the description at all. The description said “2-story studio, city view, private entrance”, but the rooms were (literally) under a bridge, the only view was the wall on the other side of the canal and the entrance was shared with another. There was also water leaking in , during rainfall.

Elegant boutique hotel - worth the money.

We were late because of train delays but staff were so helpful in making sure we got our keys and into our room. V tasteful yet unpretentious decoration of the room, v comfy bed, good mini-bar for drinks and snacks, a lovely bathroom, and all with a view of an inner courtyard, v peaceful. It was convenient for the station and our day trip to the Botanic Gdns the next day - the hotel guarded our bags for the day, thanks!

Beautiful house in a perfect location to stay , very friendly staff ,lovely breakfast

Quality of food was excellent , simple but tasty . While the choice was limited it was perfect for the hotel and fulfilled our needs

We had difficulty opening the windows and they were very heavy to do so . It would be also good to have some type of an fan in the toilet
