Great location and super convenient

Smart rooms and great location. Once stop from main station. Lots of bars and eateries close by. Lots of breakfast options

Losing electricity and water supplies for 11 hours. This is what brings my rating down. Disasters happen but you need a contingency plan.

Cool hotel in great location

Hotel was very cool! Loved the quirky decor. Great that you could hire bikes from the hotel. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was good. Good location quite near town with nice restaurants nearby, and close to a station. Next to a canal, would be lovely to have a drink outside if weather was good.

Breakfast was a bit expensive. Room was quite small.

We had a great stay in Utrecht.

The hotel is in a great location. We enjoyed the breakfast offerings.

In all of my years of traveling, I have never had such a disinterested greeting at check-in or throughout my stay from the “front desk” staff. Not one time, either at check-in or during our stay, was I met with a “Welcome” or kind word. We were asked for our passports and handed our room keys, that was it. No pleasantries, no explanation about breakfast hours, no talk about any amenities, completely uninviting from check-in to checkout. I asked if I could leave our car parked on the side of the hotel long enough to drop our bags and then make our way to the nearby parking garage; the response “Yeh, sure.”; the young lady barely even made eye contact during check in or when speaking to me. No matter the hour as we walked in and out of the hotel did anyone from the stay even say “Hello”.

The lobby and the interior in general very really welcoming and friendly, the staff - polite and helpful, and I loved that dogs are allowed on the property so you get to have breakfast with some furry babies sitting around :)

I found the breakfast to be a little bland, especially in the warm food section. There was also a long strip of painter's tape still stuck to the wall in my room (117), and visible brownish residue on the bottom of sliding shower doors.

Great location and plenty of food options (especially if you have time to enjoy breakfast slowly)

This was the second time I was staying in this hotel, and it was even better than the first time. I was, again, able to check in earlier. Everyone is helpful and pleasant, and they really make sure to accommodate you to your needs.

Right next to De Helling concert hall

We had a great stay at Moxy Utrecht. The hotel is right next to "De Helling" concert hall, which was incredibly convenient for us. It’s comfortable, cosy and within a 10-15 minute walk from the beautiful historic city centre. Highly recommended!

Very cool funky stay. Super clean and great design for a compact space. Excellent value for the location. Just shy of 10/10 because the mattress wasn’t the greatest. Didn’t spend the 18€ for the breakfast and glad - it’s a slightly amped up standard euro buffet

Sunny days in Utrecht

Perfect location both for walking and public transport, youthful and pleasant atmosphere, comfortable room but lacks a wardrobe, even a small one, and a kettle to prepare tea or a hot drink. The lack of a kettle could be solved by placing one in the hall for the costumers with cups/glasses and various infusions (coffee, infusions, tea, ....).

For the price I expected luxury. This was more basic.

Good location, close to train station but I did not hear the trains in my room. Lovely walk by the canal all the way up to the centre. Good security with key cards to operate the lift. Young, fresh, hip decor. Superb black out curtains! My room was completely dark. Nice staff with a warm welcome. Nice breakfast: scrambled egg, bacon, toast, fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, pastries etc.

Room was cold even with air con off. I couldn’t work out how to put the heat on. Perhaps put some instructions on the wall. Bed was a bit too hard for me. The shower had pubic hair on the floor. No tea & coffee in the room.

Lots of seating, 3 staff at reception in busy times. Looked nice and rooms were clean. Breakfast was full of great choices.

The range of breakfast food was exceptional - salads , range of ‘sweet’ pasties. Evening atmosphere around the bar and choice of beers and wine !

Almost perfect hotel in a very beatiful city

1. Excellent staff, the best I have ever seen (and I am travelling a lot), very kind and helpful. 2. Excellent location close to train station, restaurants, supermakets and city center. 3. Very clean. 4. Very good insulation (heavy doors and good windows), you hear nothing. 5. WiFi perfect. 6. Breakfast very good. 7. Room big enough, with all accessories, with nice view. 8. Bathroom clean, big enough, with all accessories. 9. It is a little bit expensive but for Utrecht I would say it is chep, so best value for money for Utrecht. 10. Lights do not need a card to operate, so when you leave you can still charge electronic equipments or let the air condition on.

I would give 10 but only some minor things (that are not very serious) led me to give 9. 1. The window doesn't fully open but only a little bit. This could be a problem during summer times (I went winter time). 2. The heating control was not perfect. The heating system is air condition. It had to work continuously in order to keep a stable temperature, even during the night which is a little bit noisy. Maybe hotel settings were such that prevent users to control better the temperature. Me personally I would like a little bit more heat and not having A/C working continuously during the night. If we turned it off for the night, in the morning the room was cold and it takes too long to recover. 3. There is no closet or even 1-2 shelves to put some clothes in/on. There is a place to hang things but it is not very convenient. Anyway you can live without this. 4. Inside bathroom there is no place to hang somehting which is useful in general. 5. There is no refridgerator in the room, which might be a problem during summer times.

The best hotel in Utrecht!! 👍

The hotel concept in General this is my third time staying, it feels like home. The staff amazing, I love clean area which this meet my expectations, my kids felt like home the can go around the place safely, they have different activities for type of age's. Breakfast 🥞🍳 super delicious! Top hotel in Utrecht

The cleaning all are great, some time they miss some area to clean, the major problem I believe is the restaurant services lunch time and dinner they should have a proper kitchen fresh food not fast warm food that's really bad. Second happy hour coffee and tea should be free, Bar service should improve a bit.

Great for family stays

We got two adjacent rooms which was great as we were travelling with children; the breakfast is very complete any staff very friendly and helpful. The area is nice, there are bars and restaurants close by and good connection with trains. It will take you 3 minutes to Utrecht Central and half an hour to Amsterdam central station. The hotel is also on walking distance from the city center.

The only thing I miss in the room is a mini fridge.

The breakfast was an International Breakfast. The quality and the variety were good.

The Room was small and the bed wasn't compfortable. the Gym was small and with a low variety.
