Just the ticket if a bit spartan.

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast very nice and good value. Staff helpful. It was 30secs walk from main busroutes to various parts of teh city

The room felt a bit like student accommodation a bit spartan for the money. Shower and doors could be updated. Noise from walking in floor above was pronounced.

Very bad experience

Clean bed

No privacy. You have 3 sec to show up near the door, otherwise, they get into your room 2 times a day!!! No elevator and a dangerous staircase! basic breakfast with cheap frozen fruit, No warm meal and the same meal everyday. Load and long ventilation system. I don't recommend staying there more than 2 nights. Doesn't worth the money AT ALL!

They forgot to clean my room, there were empty wrappings left over in the bathroom. The bathroom would also appreciate a thorough cleaning. The single rooms are very tiny and narrow and the equipment is from like the 70s. I dislike that this cannot be told from the accomodation photos.

Pleasant cozy hotel, handy for a city visit, in a quiet Dutch-looking street

The family-run hotel is in a lovely quiet street, at a 12-minute bus ride from the central railway station, close to the old centre, which was very pleasant. The staff were kind and very helpful. The room was well-equipped and comfortable, I did not expect a freshly refurbished envireonment anyway. It was good value, convenient and reasonable for a couple of days.

Great place to stay for a lower fee, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The 2nd room we got was really nice, and the balcony added a lot of value to our stay. The location is about a 20-30 minute walk away from the center, although there are also pretty great locations in between. You can easily rent bikes or use public transportation if walking is not something you prefer.

The stairs in the hotel were awful, it was really bothersome to navigate them, especially on our first night when we were situated on the 2nd floor. Some images of the property were of areas I had never seen and that confused me.

Perfect place to stay in Utrecht!

It was a perfect hotel for one night in Utrecht. Very convenient by bus from the central station and historical centre. Comfortable room and the staff were nice and friendly.

Steep price for a very basic room with minimum comfort

no a/c, no electric fan available had to open a window which seemed easily accessible from other rooms through a kind of balcony/ledge very noisy vent in the bathroom very poor wifi shower head fixed to the wall, limited articulation steep stairs, very difficult to manage with larger luggage no coffee machine or even an electric kettle cleaning service rushing us for check-out after 10 minutes delay

Location in a nice and quiet area, still close to many food and drinks options and walking distance from the centre. Very helpful and friendly reception staff with a great attitude. The room was bigger than expected at only 8 sqm and very comfortable

It's probably the first time ever that i got dissapointed with the cleaning of a room. The toilet had clear marks of recent use and there was mold at the sink that hadnt been scrubbed in a long time.

Hotel in a charming old building in a quiet area within walking distance of the city center

The hotel is located a couple of kilometers walk from the city center in a quiet and prosperous-looking area. My room was small, but it had everything I expect from a hotel room: a bed, a table, adequate lighting, a toilet and a shower. It is worth noting that, as in many old Dutch buildings, there were steep and narrow stairs leading to the upper floors. So the place is not suitable for people with disabilities, for example.

Hotel just outside the city center and close to public transport, but far outside to be in a quite neighborhood. The breakfast area has a nice view on their garden.

Not that much space for city bikes (but enough for mine). Breakfast was okay, but with limited choice.

Would stay again

Large room, quiet, comfortable, not too hot! Easy breakfast buffet. Competitively priced and accepted my dog (althugh I kept him in a cage for my own peace of mind).

Car parking was an issue, had to drive around to find something and then walk, also move before 9am, but that was OK as I was off before then anyway.

For 85 euros I got a room with no toilet paper. Staff was nonchalant and didn't care.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, despite the very soft mattress.

There was no toilet paper in the room. I arrived late and reception had closed, so there was no opportunity to ask for toilet paper. When I talked to reception in the morning, the guy just shrugged and said "Ah yeah, that happens sometimes. Oh well, it's done now." A mind-boggling experience.

Fits the price.

The beds were very comfortable. The heating worked perfectly. The room is cleaned every morning. The location is perfect, one minute away from the bus stop and 20 minutes walking distance from the city center. It is 5 minutes away from the best ice cream shop I’ve ever tried (Roberto Gelato).

The toilet smelled a little bit funky, not horrible tho. The backyard garden you see in the photos is not accessible.

surprisingly the single bed was very comfortable

it’s a 30 min walk from central, nearest shop 10 minutes, the shower cubicle was very small, bad smell in the room, no light in landing so trying to open door was a nightmare, the stairs should be illegal there that steep, think it’s catered for travellers
