Superb Hotel !

Excellent Hotel with nice views. Our room was tip top clean, with a very clean and big bathroom. Nice comfy beds with nice sitting area and a big balcony. We added breakfast - which was very good as well. Maybe hard to get there without car - but since we had one, it wasnt a problem.

Quite a walk to the carpark which was behind the hotel.

It was spotlessly clean, with a very professional staff who was as helpful as one could possibly ask. Everyone we had contact with (maids, front desk, bar, restaurant - they were friendly and helpful.

Excellent service and very relaxing

The room was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely facilities and only a 10 minute bike ride from the city centre. We had never stayed here before but would definitely recommend it, a little relaxing haven in the middle of the city centre.

Such a pleasure

Lake view was insane with all the sheeps, cats and other animals from the house across and the stuff were so helpful and heartwarming. Bathroom and the bath was super clean, and the bed was comfy.

Wish they provide slippers in the room. Although the ambiance around the hotel was so nice (small forests around, and an idyllic experience), it’d be good if it was more close to the center

Gorgeous city that is ideally experienced on foot and by bike!

Loved the beautiful location by the water and woodland trails. Being able to hire bikes to get about really made it a good break because we could get into central Utrecht so easily and got to see and experience the city differently. Friendly, helpful staff.

Small things like a shower door that was hard to close and meant the floor got wet. When we went for a drink at the bar we hoped to sit outside on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful view but were told it was only for diners, though there was space.

Ok if your company pays for it, or for conferences. For personal trips look somewhere else.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Restaurant food is nice and costs are in line with the restaurants in the city centre (alcohol is slightly more costly). The park next to the hotel is beautiful for a walk if the weather allows for it. Good for conferences, and the staff is very nice.

Location is good if you have a car or a bike, but if you rely on public transport is a bit of a pain (10 mins walk to the closest bus stops, plus another 15-20 minutes ride to Utrecht central). The beds mattresses are uncomfortable. The structure is quite old and needs a bit of colour/brighter wall paint - flooring was just redone tho. The plumbing and the airco of the room I stayed in was very noisy. The cost per night (160€) does not match with the quality of the offer.

A stunningly wonderful stay again - thank you to the ultra friendly and welcoming staff. I love the new spa renovation. Loved late check out and being able to use the pool after. Thank you and see you soon!

Sauna heat was a little colder on the first day but was warmed up the day after! If we can keep it 80c and above that would be amazing.

A lovely place to explore Utrecht and beyond

The out of town lakeside setting was fantastic, with every facility to make a stay very special. The staff were professional, helpful, and the whole team seemed to have a great pride in their business

Being slightly out of the main centre, it felt slightly divorced from Utrecht - but that is as much a positive as it is a negative.

Enjoyable

Pleasant hotel with pleasant surroundings. Staff very helpful - always greeted with a smile. We were in a lake facing room. This was nice and quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our drinks on the lake side bar terrace.

Unfortunately the swimming pool & Sauna were closed for maintenance - but we were notified of this at booking, so we were aware of this.

Good enough, a bit oldish style

The location is very nice, the lake view is amazing

Though is a 4 star hotel it is a pretty old one which you don’t see in the pics, the room looks kind of oldish, even though the bathroom is nice. We had some trouble with workers coming to repair the terrace 2 days in a row and woke us up at 8 am..we complained the first day but didn’t took any measure for the second day. Lovely hotel, with a pretty patio, near the lake, with huge modern rooms, both bath and a duche, fast and nice staff, everything was amazing. The location is quiet and very green.

Our go to stay in Utrecht.

Despite being close to a main road the location was quiet. Our room overlooked the lake which was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had on our tour, well worth the money. The swimming pool was reason enough to come back here, we’ve been before and are planning to come again.

Interesting hotel and better for conferences.

It was interesting. It was set away from everything. As we drove in, we got nervous thinking it was like a camp lodge. As we came into the main reception it improved. The rooms were clean. Had a good sized fridge.

The spa area was weird. You had to pay to go into the hot tub and the steam room felt dirty. It would have been nice to have the steam room with a eucalyptus scent. The pool was small but decent. The shower area and bathrooms were common areas for men and women. I did not like that. Regarding the restaurant, it was very expensive. The breakfast buffet was 19.99 EU and was good but we were not told we had to reserve and they charged us 22.50 Eu each on my check out. I asked to have that changed to the price I was quoted. I have yet to hear Back if that is being done. Also, we were told not to bring a car to the downtown area of Utrecht. We had to walk 10 minutes to get a bus to get downtown. The walk wasn’t a big deal, but if you are walking all day, it is for people with issues with feet, back etc.

Nicely appointed rooms with pleasant scenery and grounds.

Nicely appointed and spacious rooms overlooking lake. Each bedroom had a bath and shower option. Surroundings of the hotel were very nice. Comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool. Lunch had at the hotel was of a good standard.

Being misled into believing that the hotel was closer to the centre of Utrecht than it actually was. Being charged for a car park (10 euros daily) in the middle of no where. Not being prior warned that our stay might be affected by Kings Day. Staff were courteous but not not particularly welcoming.

We all had a great time!

Room was great, especially being able to divide the two space. Great bathroom. Good breakfast. We loved the facilities and made good use of the pool, sauna and steam room.

There could have been more mid-range options on the dinner menu, as this didn't allow much flexibility when choosing.

Big, clean room with a nice balcony and a stunning view of the lake and fort. Really good spa facilities which were free to access including pool, steam room and sauna. Outdoor patio on the lake was great for evening drinks. Really attentive staff!

Perfect as always

Staying here for the third time. Everything was excelent as always, comfortable beds and all other facilities. Reception staff is very helpful with any requests.

The only thing that bothered me, were that maids were speaking russian quite loud and maybe thinking that no one understands them. It was a bit uncomfortable hearing them talking about me.

A wonderful stay at a superb hotel.

We arrived at 1.15 but our room was ready and Daniel on Reception gave us some Peppermint Tea as I was very tired. We also enjoyed super Onion Soup on the terrace in the sunshine overlooking the lake, very peaceful. Swimming pool superb.
