Nice room, great location, lacks a little bit of hospitality due to no human contact

Beautiful property and great accesability

Unfortunately not a lot of human contact for check-in/ check-out. Everytging is through your phone so after my phone died during a concert I had to ring the bell multiple times and wait until someone opened my room door for me. A little unfortunate but I appreciate someone being on call

Below average

Check in was complicated - I simply wanted a room key that wasn't available as the system wasn't working. Strange considering my 2 colleagues had room keys ok. No water in the room. Water was €6 a bottle from reception when this should be complimentary Staff reluctant to get water and I was told to drink the tap water Room #1 is painted so dark you cannot see anything during the evening, this is made worse with poor lighting No proper side tables to put your stuff on No door to to the toilet

Cleanliness was not the best for a boutique hotel with such price per night. The bed was comfortable but the pillows could be much better. The shower handle was working good but the upper rain shower was leaking all over the place. We stayed in room #6.

Great location walking distance to loads of bars and restaurants. Large comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.

The single mattresses pushed together to make a double in some of the rooms kept coming apart and for an uncomfortable night as it was easy yo fall into the gap created

Perfect for a long weekend

Upon arrival don’t expect a traditional hotel reception. The downstairs, effectively the main communal area, takes the form of a modern coffee shop. Here you are greeted by one of the staff members and check in is over in a matter of minutes. The room has high ceilings and was full of natural light thanks to the two huge windows. Decor was a mix of old a new with a marble fireplace being a key feature. The bed was huge and comfortable. The shower area was also spacious, more like a wet room. Location is perfect with everything you need nearby.

Apart from a coat rack, there was nowhere to hang clothes. There was some shelving space within a unit but no means of hanging longer garments and no hangers provided.

The location was perfect. The rooms were large and nice. The restaurant at the bottom of the hotel was great, too.

The elevator is very slow and difficult to work, but there are easy stairs.

the bell of the dom kept ringing even at night, the room was comfy but the set up was a bit weird (in example shower had no door to close). Reception/check-in is a bit chaotic cause you are basically in a restaurant.

Great place to stay

Very comfortable room, with air conditioning which was quite welcome ! The staff was very helpful too.

The building being old, you can hear the other guests walking, but it is pretty well mitigated and didn't cause discomfort. Could be concerning though if you are sensitive to noise.

Great place in one of my favourite towns

I loved the location and the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful.

There's a bit of wear and tear in the building which could do with fixing. These are only minor issues but noticeable.

Comfortable and central

The place had a modern feeling about it in a converted old building. Location is very central and has a lovely coffee shop at ground floor level.

The rooms need some basic maintenance which could really make a difference.

The room was a bit shabby for the price we paid. The toilet doorknob was loose, the faucet for the bath was loose. There were waterdamage stains arouns the sink and the paint was chipped in multiple places.

Wonderful location - easy to walk everywhere

Lovely big bed, coffee machine and kettle; hairdryer and thoughtful addition of yoga mat and yoga guide book.

The blinds at windows didn’t work - one did but not the others. Cup was suitable for coffee but not big enough for tea.

Hotel Simple is far from Simple, but would prefer to call it the Grand Exotic!

Wow I liked everything. The classic decor and color scheme. The receptionist (Spanish lady) and the nice guy servicing the rooms. I love the linen, bathtub, the nice Nespresso coffee machine with coffee capsules. There was really nothing which I didn't like. I even love all the bathroom necessities and of cause the lovely, lovely smell in the room and the lemon/citrus flavour of the shower gel. This hotel was also close by everything. Walking all over town and the touristic places was all walking distance. This is tar from Simple...it is totally the opposite.

Absolutely nothing... Maybe only the small fridge which wasn't working or making the water cold, but surely this is easy to fix or to replace. A suggestion for the feature to sell breakfast and good coffee in the morning.

Location was great, and front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.

1) Room not super clean: a lot of dust, and shoe prints easily seen on the floor. 2) house keeping staff left my room’s door open when they left, and all of my stuff was in the room… 3) safe did not work, or I couldn’t get it to work. There were no instructions 4) wifi in the room (suite 2) was not usable. No internet connection despite access point signal

Deluxe room was very spacious, nice furniture and deco, self-standing bath tub.

Mattress is slightly too soft to my taste, one drawer was broken and constantly opening.

TV could have been better. friend in a room had much better reception and wider range of channels. normally i wouldnt be bothered about the TV but we went when it was cold and wet and needed some rest time
