10/10 hotel. Everything was perfect.

We stayed in room 1. What a fabulous room - very spacious, beautifully decorated, an amazing view and a perfect location (never needed to walk further than 15 minutes for anything!) The bed was to die for, so so comfy! The lady that works at the plant shop, sorry we have forgotten her name, was super lovely and helpful and even gave us some great recommendations. 10/10 would definitely recommend and is so worth the money. Our room was even decorated, to our surprise with love heart bunting as it was our anniversary. A truly amazing place which quickly feels like home (at least it did to us!)

Exactly what we expected from Utrecht, wonderful place.

Central to bars restaurants and shops, 11 mins from train station, what's not to like.

Unfortunately the local cat's liked to visit the tree planters right out side the front door!!

- Great communication with hosts and friendly staff - Loved the room, luxe touches and good facilities (e.g. ironing board, fridge, hob etc). - Location was fab - really walkable to everywhere in the city - We also enjoyed (and would recommend) 'Sip and bite' at their nearby cafe

Very central location, large and clean room.

The room faces a pretty busy square in the evenings with restaurants and bars. It was fine for me but could get a bit loud.

Lovely, comfortable, and in a perfect location.

They let us checkout late after a very long day of traveling before :) The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! There was so much character all over the place, each room was beautifully decorated. Also we had a balcony which was a surprise. Normally I pack very light so stairs and luggage would be no issue, but this was for a move and my suitcase was heavy. They had an area to store it at the bottom and I grabbed necessities from there-- that was super convenient.

We were on the top floor so the heat rose and we couldn't open the windows and so there wasn't much air flow. Even when it got cooler, it took awhile to cool down the room because there were 3 of us. Lighter blankets or a fan weren't available so a quick cold shower did the trick!

Lovely appartment with some noisy passerbys at night

New, stylish, clean, friendly host, small kitchen in case needed, city center location

While to a degree normal with central locations, this place seems to be on the home route of many loud drunken people on weekends all along the night (earplugs provided) - be aware when choosing ground floor apartment.

Lovely looking room with great atmosphere but a bit noisy neighbourhood

The room we stayed in was very large and comfortable. We liked the look of it as it felt very homely, with plants and some decorative objects on the shelves. It was also very well equipped with a steam iron, a hairdryer, a coffee machine, a little fridge and plates and utensils. The bathroom and the toilet were of a good size and the range of towels and free toiletries were nice. We liked the bed very much too as it was super big and the quality of mattress and the bedding was amazing. The room was full of natural light and it had super large doors to a balconette overlooking one of the main town squares. We could let the fresh air easily.

We were a bit surprised to discover there was no door between the bathroom and the room. So essentially, you could see the other person having a shower when you were in bed or in the room. This might be a potential issue if you are staying in the room together but you aren't romantically involved ( I was with my daughter). The second issue might be the fact that the room overlooks a very busy town square. During the day it's ok and we liked it, however, it was rather noisy up until quite late at night due to busy bars and cafes below and people enjoying themselves up until late at night. And at about 7 or 8 am, we were woken up regularly by the loud noise of the street cleaning machines or rubbish collections or deliveries (carts being pushed on cobblestones rattling noisily). This might be a potential deal-breaker for light sleepers or people who want total peace and quiet.

Would love to stay here again!

Everything! Beautiful room, high ceilings, extremely comfortable bed with gorgeous, soft linens, so spacious, seating area with coffee maker, mini fridge, cutlery. Location was perfect. Walking through the plant shop was so special. There is a side door which goes through the back part of the plant shop for after hours. The staff were so friendly and caring. Highly recommend Dawn’s Greenhouse. We stayed in the room in the 1st floor with the Juliet balcony.

Central location, easy check-in/out, very clean.

I only stayed one night in Utrecht for a work event, I needed a convenient and central accommodation with easy check-in/out. Daen's Greenhouse perfectly fit that criteria. The place was easy to find, the instructions very clear to follow and everything went according to plan. I also needed to check out early in the morning and the check-out process was just as seamless as the check-in. The Greenhouse is ideally located, I was able to walk from the station and find many food options around.

Lovely nature-themed room and very spacious, huge comfortable bed, powerful and hot shower, sooo central and nice ambience with dimmed lights.

Personally I didn’t find the apartment opening up onto a side street uncomfortable but some may, particularly if you have children. I could hear all noise from the street and kept the curtains closed as there were no blinds so people could see in. With the curtains closed and lights on, it’s still quite dimmed, but I loved it. Not all would though I don’t think

The location is superb. Great central hotel and the lady who welcomed us was so nice.

The room was quite upside down. Very narrow spiral staircase to get to the bathroom or make a drink. Large steep stairs to the room, very narrow. It was very noisy. We slept very little with loud noise until at least 3.30am-4am. Then building works started right outside our room. One morning waking up to having a man looking right into our bathroom. To make it worse they started working on the outside of our building at around 6.30am. I would have liked to have been notified of all of this and then had the choice to change my booking. Sadly I will not be going back.

I do prefer to wake up with natural sunlight and couldn’t because privacy curtain was necessary at night, but everything else about it was perfect so this was not a big deal.

Lovely airy room, spotlessly clean and located in the centre of town only 12 minutes walk from Utrecht Central station. Kettle and mini fridge were a great addition. The bed was very comfortable too.

Perfect central and cosy spot in Utrecht!

Stunning place to stay in the centre of Utrecht! Above a beautiful plant store. A very warm welcome and very accommodating. The rooms were lovely and very clean. You’re right in the centre, walking distance to the main canal and church. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

Beautiful, central, comfortable

This hotel is beautifully styled, our room 2 had a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The location is very central and the staff were great and kept my bags safe for me after checkout. There were some very steep stairs to navigate but this was doable for us. Clearly a lot of thought has been put into the look of the room.

Because it's so central you also get the city noises of cleanup crews, deliveries to businesses, students going out etc, however this wasn't a deal-breaker for us but something to consider. The hotel does provide ear plugs. Also, the bedding was very comfortable but strangely loud.

Chic, beautifully appointed room under the eaves

I love the idea of checking in at a plant shop. Our room was up under the eaves and was meticulously designed with its own tiny balcony. It was a delightful space to return to after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel overlooks a busy square so Friday night was a little noisy. The owners had thoughtfully provided ear plugs.

Central, stylish and comfortable.

Location, the standard and decor of the accomodation. Ease of communication and offered some flexibility for check-in on request. Morning espresso on the private balcony was a highlight.

Only very minor thing for me was the bed was very soft. But that is a personal preference and not reflective on the quality of my stay.

Way overpriced. This is not a hotel but an AirBnB.

The location.

We went during a weekend when it was freezing (-3° outside!). We arrive at our duplex room (upstairs is the bathroom, downstairs is the bed) and our bedroom was freezing. The windows were super thin (with mold in the corners), so you could feel the cold coming straight in through the windows. The whole place was only heated by 1 air conditioner, but the heat from that air conditioner went upstairs (where the bathroom was) and did not stay downstairs, making the ground floor and our bed very cold all weekend. Not fun. I assume that in the summer dealing with the heat will also be a big problem in this duplex. Next to that, I was very disappointed with the money-value of this stay. The price they ask is not in balance with what they offer. I think it's way overpriced. The "hotel" (it's not a hotel, it felt more like an AirBnb) is not practical and very small, looks old and dated inside (although they did a cheap renovation of the bathroom), it's noisy, and they don't offer anything besides a bed and 2 towels (for this price I would have expected them to at least offer us some things like slippers, a bathrobe, small soaps and shampoos, tissues, a bottle of water,.. .). The small refrigerator was empty, not even water was offered....I mean….. They rent their rooms for almost the same price as other (luxury) hotels in the city, so I'm really confused and very disappointed.
