We had an enjoyable stay overall. The views of the sea are absolutely beautiful and the location is excellent. The property is spacious, with a pleasant outdoor area that’s great for relaxing. It was also convenient to have parking available, and the house is well-equipped with everything you might need. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient throughout. That said, the décor wasn’t quite to our taste. The painted wash/distressed finish gives the interior a somewhat dirty and shabby appearance, and the furniture and overall style feel dated and tired. There are also quite a lot of furniture pieces and ornaments, which makes the space feel a bit cluttered.
Baboons are frequently in the area, so doors and windows need to remain closed at all times. It may be worth considering adding bars or additional security features on windows and doors for extra peace of mind.

If ever I am in in Cape Town again, I am looking at no other place to go.

if i really have to split hairs and my wife says i am impossible, the iron could have done with a clean, the washing machine drawer where you put the soap and the rubber around the door could also do with some cleaning.
