A lovely location in the bay of Kotor

Lovely apartments set at the waters edge in the bay of Kotor with fabulous views from our balcony. We were warmly greeted by the owners who took care of us throughout our three day visit. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The owner also kindly booked us a motor boat tour across the bay of Kotor, we were picked up from the pier at the front of the apartments. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

The bathroom was rather tired

.The building is an old building well maintained (under Unesco according to the host). Room is well equipped and well maintained although on the smaller size. The location is perfect right by the water front. It is 4Km from old city of Kotor, and one day we even walked there (about 1 hour) since most of the walk is along the waterfront. Breakfast is OK and sufficient for starting the day

Good location but not the best experience

The location is excellent, very convenient and easy to access. The restaurant terrace with a sea view is beautiful, especially the outdoor area of the hotel, which is very pleasant to spend time in. At reception, a young lady helped us with check-in and she was very kind and friendly.

The people who seemed to be the owners (an older man and woman) did help us, but their attitude was not very welcoming. The room was clean, but you could clearly see the wear and tear from age: stained walls and an air conditioning system that was too weak to cool the main room properly. Overall, the condition of the room does not match the high price, especially when compared to other hotels in the area that are in better shape and offer more.

Very kind owner!!

The property is 5km from downtown Kotor, which we appreciated because we also wanted to swim a lot. For this, it was perfect. It’s a family run property with roughly 10 rooms. We also liked the very friendly host and the breakfast menu available was good. We also appreciated that beach towels were provided.

This isn’t your 5 star hotel experience, which is fine. After night one our room wasn’t done, there was a little bit of a smell in our room on day 3 and the coffee / juice for breakfast isn’t something fancy or so. It just does the job.

Old and faded room. Very small bathroom and poor access to room. Was made clear that we would have been allocated a better room if we had booked direct rather than via Booking.com

Overall it's good.

The place is very nice along coastal area, very scenic during sunrise & sunset. We eat dinner once and it's really good. Location wise, you can use bus going to Old Town Kotor, by walk it's an hour.

Breakfast is not buffet and mostly eggs menu & fresh cuts.

There was a lizard in my room. Breakfast was poor. Doesn’t worth it. Something squeaked all night. I couldnt sleep at all

Very well situated, right next to the seaside, view is amazing, from the hotel you just have to cross a little street and you can swim. The owner is so welcoming and charming, a pleasure to stay in their place.

Perfect stay!

Absolutely wonderful place! The place was so cozy and everyone there was super friendly. We felt like home. Also, the breakfast was amazing. And so was all the food in the Babilon restaurant we ate, especially the seabass.

A pleasant stay.

Property location was great. Parking spot. Dinner up to 23:00. Dinner at the beach. Aleksandra was very helpful.

It took some effort to communicate with the property. I called multiple times and sent messages through booking.com but with no answer. Finally, next day, one of the contacts listed picked up. Also the breakfast was very limited.

Excelent stay!

Super friendly owner, eager to help; comfortable rooms and biutiful views; freshly cooked breakfast, simple but tasty; Kotor citadel can be reached by foot in about 45 min via a very nice small road by the waterfront; property has a nice deck by the water with sunbeds and tables for lunch/dinner - best location for sunset as the more you get closer to the citadel the higher the cliffs, so sunset would be obstructed by them; arrange the boat tour from de property, it’s same price everywhere - 40 eur per pax for a 3h journey, boat will pick you up directly from the hotel pier, while the owner will ensure the best operators.

Astonishing

Friendly staff, very much customer oriented, makes you feel like at home. Ivan and Goran have behaved like we are old friends, made our time really enjoyable. The gentleman that serves the breakfast and young lady were great and very charismatic as well. Great location by the see, delicious food and flexible check out time in case of need.

Exceptional

I rarely write reviews but this one really deserves it. Special thanks to our wonderful host, Mr. Djuro, and his staff, who welcomed us like friends and went above and beyond to make us feel like home. The perfect location and that pier on the bay are the other highlights. Those dinners at sunset… wow. The photos look good but it is in fact much better. We had a wonderful time here, can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back some day.

Best stay in Kotor!

We fell in love with this place! Djuro was very nice, helpful and welcoming. We felt at home right away. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the bay. plus free parking. Breakfast and service was excellent and delicious! Djuro even packed us fruit when we left. We had a wonderful experience and we will definitely come back! I recommend this perfect place if you want to visit Kotor.

A warm welcome upon arrival and the remainder of our stay. An evening still into town is a must. Gorgeous scenery the whole time. Breakfast was delicious and hearty to set the day for our activities. Book early as I’m sure it sells out during high season.

The sheer location of the property is perfect. We were able to see the Kotor bay from our room. This is a family business and each member of the family were great hosts. Very friendly, helping, kind and warm. We hugged each other while saying goodbye. Thanks for this great experience!

There was nothing I didn't like about my experience. In winter time it's mostly off-season and some facilities will be unavailable. Still, our experience was very nice and I recommend this stay to anyone who likes calm and friendly environments.

Great place to rest outside of busy Kotor

It was a great stay. The owners are very nice and friendly, the place was clean and had everything we needed. It’s few km from busy Kotor, so it was perfect to just relax on private beach and soak the view and sun. Totally recommend this place if you want to rest and relax a bit.
