2MONTENEGRO LIMETA APARTMENTS with pool

The apartment itself is great

The 1st floor apartment view is terrible and nothing like the pictures. The guests in the unit next door were chain smokers which made sitting out on the deck terrible, and their smoke was coming in through the air conditioning. The pool area was dirty.

Nice peaceful location, very nice apartment. Host was very good at communication and very helpful. Sorted out our tourist tax when the office in town didnt work (system down).

Nothing really. If I had to be really picky, the shower didnt drain very well at all and there was no obvious way to see it was blocked or clear. It was blocked from when we arrived. Presume previous guests didnt advise the host (though we have now) but thats it. Rest of the place was fab

Nice apartment with great balcony, nice furnishings, well stocked modern kitchen

Nothing really, but would have preferred softer beds

Lounge and dining area were of a good size with comfortable furniture. Dishwasher and fridge were both a good size. The pool water was clean and a good temperature. Marina was responsive via message with answering questions and provided more bedsheets and towels on request. There is a lovely little beach 5/10 minutes walk away by Huma hotel but I would recommend hiring a car to make it easier to get around.

Apartment 2 was looking tired in places despite the apartments being relatively new. There were quite a few large marks and chips in the plaster work and paint peeling off the bedrooms walls which suggests a lack of care when the property was decorated initially. There was some masking tape still up at the ceiling in the space between the bedrooms (perhaps been there since 2019!) and the shower fixture wasn’t securely fixed to the wall. The apartment could have been cleaner and so too could have the communal areas around the pool and staircase. The kitchen contained basic equipment but as we were there for 11 nights and wanted to use the self catering facilities to prepare food, we would have liked to have had more glasses, cutlery and chopping boards. There was also no toaster in the apartment despite the general description saying there was one. Whilst Marina was very responsive when we asked questions and had issues (one of the single beds was very squeaking which kept my son awake but Marina organised for a service person to fix this on a same day we reported it), it would have been really helpful to have arrived to some general information on where certain things in relation to the property where such as the nearest bus stop, where waste should be disposed of, the nearest shops etc. It took several messages to Marina and a couple of days of being there to figure these things out. Description says elegant balcony for alfresco dining but in reality the balcony for apartment 2 is tiny and there was not enough room for 4 people to sit comfortably and eat a meal. The table is too small to hold several plates and glasses. The furniture on the balcony was tired looking (see photo) and whilst we were there we looked out on two piles of rubble. Description also says it’s a 20 minutes walk to Kotor old town but if you walk along the bay, which is more scenic and safer route than taking the main road, starting at Huma hotel it is 3km.
