Lovely stay, happy family!

We had a very nice short stay: everything very smooth and we had a nice atay. The staff is very friendly and the food (dinner and breakfast) very every good! And the kids really enjoyed the stay! Thank you Ruth and team!

Exceptional

Very nice staff and amazing breakfast spread. We booked a room with shared bathroom but they upgraded us to their best room since it's vacation time for them and less number of guests. They view from the balcony of the room is Amazing. The hotel feels like a cozy, antique decorated home. Very authentic swiss vibe in a small cute village. Remote location but that's the charm of this place.

Location is remote. Nearest station is 7.5 km away- gstaad. The bus connectivity is once per hour. The last bus from the city centre leaves at around 7: 20 If you miss that, there's no way back home. So need to be mindful about this.

A great alpine hotel

We loved the old-fashion feel of the hotel combined with modern comfort such as top quality sheets and bed. Although there was not a lot of space to hang clothes and coats, there were two towel racks. In my experience even 5-star hotels often only provide one towel rack in a double room. The breakfast had a wide choice of bread, marmalade, cheese, cold cuts, cereals, juice and eggs. Good coffee and tea.

It didn't bother us, but one can hear the rushing of the stream when the windows are open. Lovely, alpine music.

For me it was a perfect stay

The view from my room surpassed my expectations. I had a tasty dinner looking at the same view from the restaurant downstairs. The bed was comfy and the room had everything I needed, and breakfast was nice. I would be happy to return on my next trip to Switzerland.

Perfect stay

The stay was perfect! Stunning location and beautiful balcony view. Very welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. The single bed was big enough for me at 6ft. The breakfast selection was large. I also ate in the restaurant and highly recommend the food!

I had a very nice time

As always, everything was great, nice room (loved the balcony), nice staff and very good food. Very pet friendy too, no extra charges for my dog. Will definitely visit again.

Charming hotel in the charming village of Gsteig.

This is a charming hotel with a lovely staff and nice restaurant. Breakfast was included with our room. A 2km walk from the hotel is a tram that is well worth taking for the beautiful vistas, lovely walk around the lake, and a nice restaurant at the top.

Because we were hiking to the next village, it would have been nice to have breakfast a bit earlier.

The best hotel I've ever been to!!

Everything about this stay was just fantastic. The property, the location, the room, the food, the staff - it all was amazing. I was blown away. I have never felt better in a hotel than during our stay at Wildhorn. The location is great, it's in the middle of Lauenen. Very close to the nearby skiing areas. The hotel staff organized skiing equipment for us (we tried cross-country skiing), it was really comfortable, the skies were delivered straight to the reception. The rooms were really cute and comfy, I felt like at home immediately. We had very good sleep as well. The breakfast was exceptional. So tasty and so Swiss, with fresh bread, muesli, yoghurts, and all the good cheese)) Big variety of everything! You will love it. We also ate dinner there every day, it was amazing. I couldnt' wish for more but I still wished to have a chocolate fondant on my birthday, and they did it, even though it was not on the menu (corona times). And they also made me a cupcake for breakfast with the candles. That was so sweet. I felt so happy. I so much recommend this place!! We will definitely be back in summer to hike to Lauenensee.

Comfortable room, nice staff, good breakfast

The staff was very nice. They offered to prepare us meals outside of kitchen timings. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The property has a big outside parking area, big enough for upto 10 cars.

It would have been nicer to have a mirror in the room. The only one present was in the bathroom.

Hotel in posizione tranquilla e con un contorno da favola in mezzo alle montagne. Colazione ottima con predominanza di dolce rispetto al salato, ma con comunque una discreta scelta. La camera singola perfetta in tutto e organizzata bene. Pulita e ordinata. Hanno anche un loro ristorante con ottimi piatti locali.

Tout, l'emplacement, le calme, le délicieux petit-déjeuner buffet, le personnel sympathique, la bouilloire à disposition. L'arrêt de bus à proximité. Et aussi le restaurant et sa bonne cuisine.

La TV qui ne fonctionnait pas! Sinon rien.
