Calming, comforting and great!

The staff, especially Olivier but all of them really, were always helpful willingly. They also remembered our requests and fulfilled it once they could i.e. we asked to book cinema, was not available at the time then, once it became available they found us and suggested the availability. So, I believe the staff & hotel itself along with amenities and location and restaurant was a great experience.

Spa has lots of options but very few are found, by both myself and my daughter, meaningful. But there is nothing to be complained about. It was clean and we could find availability without long waiting times.

A perfect weekend getaway to have a totally “reset”.

Its as amazing on the inside like the outside. The infrastructure, design, interior etc looks great and is made with high quality furniture, robes, bedsheets - yes even the paper you write on! The big SPA area and the different services you can book are lovely. The terrace is very cute and comfy!!

We realized you can hear the music that’s being played outside while breakfast. It was kind of annoying if you want to sleep in or you’re a light sleeper. But since it’s not hard rock music that’s being played, it’s okay.

Fabulous!

Le Grand Bellevue is my favourite hotel anywhere in the world. I have been coming once a year for the last 5 years. The staff are unlike any hotel staff I have ever experienced anywhere else. Polite, incredibly kind and thoughtful and thoroughly charming - they are always going out of their way to surprise you with beautiful gestures that make your stay all the more comfortable. The food in the restaurant is also of a very high standard and I’m a spa lover and love the spa facilities here. Coming here always feels like coming home and I am always sad to leave. I have an electric car and appreciate the hotel having extensive fast charging facilities in their underground car park.

It’s a shame the hotel does not provide e-bikes for hire

Disappointing Experience at a Supposedly Luxury Hotel

I recently stayed at Le Grand Bellevue for one night, and unfortunately, it was far from the experience I was expecting for the price. After an overpriced dinner, we returned to our room only to find a mouse on our bed. Naturally, I was shocked and immediately reported the issue to the reception. The front desk employee seemed surprised but quickly insinuated that it might have been our fault by asking if we had left the terrace door open. This was highly unprofessional and made us feel blamed for something completely unacceptable in a hotel of this supposed standard. We requested another room, and while they did manage to find one, it was presented as though we should be "lucky" they had a room available. To make matters worse, they didn’t offer any kind of compensation—no complimentary drink, water, or gesture of goodwill. For the high price, I expected far better service and a much more professional approach. This experience was disappointing and not at all what you would expect from a hotel that claims to be a luxury destination. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Amazing hotel - feels just like home!

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed at this year. Hands down! Fantastic stay - Amazing and super friendly staff! The property has one of the best spas that I've ever visited. They were kind enough to upgrade my wife and I to one of the best rooms at the property! The service was so personal that it honestly felt like home. If ever I visit Gstaad again - there is no doubt about where I'll stay I cannot stress enough as to how comfortable and amazing our stay was!

The Grand lives up to its name!

This was really a great luxury hotel experience with very high standard on everything and an exceptionally service-minded and attentive staff. The playroom is a great plus if you travel with small children. The location, in a large garden literally in the centre of Gstaad is also great. Very good value for money.

1. Staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with regards to our 1 year old child as well as shuttling myself and my partner across town. 2. Food at the hotel was delicious. 3. Hotel amenities were outstanding - the kids play room was superb, the fitness centre was high class and the indoor pool was magnificent.

1. Room temperature was set a bit too high. While it is understandable that rooms are heated in the Swiss winter, this was on occasion a bit too warm. We fixed this by simply opening a room window and so it did not ruin the trip. 2. Switzerland is thought of stereotypically expensive and our experience confirmed that stereotype.

Fantastic Property. Central location 5 minutes from train station and main street shops and restaurants. Staff is amazing and friendly, meals at restaurants on property were phenomenal. Half Board option for hotel guests was a great touch - four course menu that changes nightly and keeps things fresh. Beautiful amenities as well - spa and indoor pool were very nice. Would stay again in a heart beat if returning to Gstaad.
