Excellent

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful chalet-style hotel. The restaurant is outstanding, and La Bagatelle being part of the hotel is a real highlight. All the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the complimentary transfer service to the village, arranged anytime upon request. As a lovely surprise, we were also upgraded to a suite that felt like a small private chalet, with a breathtaking view. Everything was perfect—from the service to the atmosphere. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return.

Friendly and welcoming with exceptional food and service.

The staff are warm and welcoming with great service. The food here is exceptional. We traveled with our dogs who were also welcomed everywhere. The hotel is situated up a bit of a hill from the centre, but we walked it each day without too much puffing. If you don’t fancy this the hotel offer a free transfer for you up until 5.30pm. Our room was spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed and squishy pillows. Would highly recommend the Grand Chalet if visiting Gstaad.

Magical Stay!

Stunning location with amazing views. Set a little on the edge of town but a useful free shuttle service. The room and balcony were very spacious and everything felt new. Staff were very kind and helpful and we enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Wonderful stay!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Gstaad.

Great location, views over Gstaad and the valley are fabulous. The whole team are fabulous, friendly and can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and well looked after. Hotel, restaurant and room were spotlessly clean.

Authentic and beautiful

Gstaad, Saanen, and Rougemont are blissful. The location of the Chalet is perfect with its commanding view of the valley and surrounding mountains. The staff were very attentive and enjoyable.

We walked into a construction zone without warning - not expected given the handsome price. The staff were very accommodating.

A home away from home experience.

Location, and service. A wonderful spacious room, with a stunning view. we would wake up early every morning excited to be in the balcony. Clean facility, and great catering. The staff made the stay memorable. they would book Resturaunt’s, drive us up and down to downtown, lights our fireplace, recommend attractions, to name a few things they did. Always smiling, always helpful. The cheerful staff made the stay worth repeating. Fabienne, Carol, Marion thank you 🙏🏽

A beautiful Swiss traditional hotel in a beautiful location with very good food and services but no comfort

The hotel is very beautiful. The Swiss style of the hotel and the interior design as well as the location and the atmosphere are excellent. The staff were very friendly and the room service was also very good. The breakfast was excellent. We had also dinner in the hotel which is of top service, excellent food and quality, good drinks and varieties of choices.

- The room’s temperature wasn’t regulated and it was always warm. We reduced the heating regulator but it was still very warm specially during the nights so we had to leave the window slightly open (we travelled in January). - The other negative point was that the smell of the cookings in the kitchen and fireplace came up in our room which was absolutely not pleasant. We couldn’t leave the window in the balcony open because the smell would be more intensive. We had a beautiful room and a balcony with the view to the mountain but it was unfortunate that we couldn’t have a pleasant and relaxed stay either in the days or nights. In addition to these mentioned problems, the noises outside the room were also disturbing for ex. if somebody closed a door loud, or noises in a late night up in the bar/restaurant.
