The hotel was a cozy little hotel with excellent staff. A very traditional swiss chalet with wooden structure and large balconies. We stayed at a 4 bed room and was expecting a large room with 4 bed crammed in all the spaces. However to our pleasant surprise it was actually 2 separate rooms with 2 separate toilets. The rooms was very very spacious.
The best was the staff. One particular staff member, Liza, was the warmest host I have met in a long time. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We wanted to have dinner outside and, although the dinner was set only inside, she went out of her way to set up a table for us outside and brought all the food there. And at all times she was smiling and talking and joking with us. All of the staff were very helpful and kind.
The location was just a short but very scenic walk from gstaad main station. So the location was very ideal as well.
Everything was great. Maybe they can increase the breakfast spread a little more
