all in all a wonderful stay and we were lucky to have great weather during our stay

The penthouse is brilliant and is equipped with a large fire place, which was a welcome surprise. Spa facilities are very good and the breakfast is wholesome and sumptuous. Staff was very supportive and attentive. the two restaurants at the property served excellent food.

The two room unit is very spacious and comfortable, we feel the decor could have been slightly better to enhance the chalet feel. Parking was charged extra, though it could have easily been offered with the booking price.

Everything was outstanding! The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, every single one of them, which is truly rare to find in any hotel. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and effortless. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Nice place if you’re traveling without a dog.

The hotel team was very responsive to my messages and confirmed in advance the arrangements regarding our dog. The property is beautifully located, and we appreciated that dogs are welcome in the lounge.

Unfortunately, our request for a late check-out could not be accommodated, and as we could not leave our dog unattended, we had to cancel the couples’ massage we had booked. While the team offered alternatives such as luggage storage and access to the spa changing rooms, a bit more flexibility on check-out would have made our stay more relaxing. Overall, the communication was professional and courteous.

A scenic location, with stunning views and a lovely spa to help make your stay relaxing.

The rooms, south facing views, and facilities were all excellent. We ate at the restaurant both nights and enjoyed the variety very much, including the children's menu.

Everything was great, but we noticed that the bathroom in the twin room (we booked two rooms) was quite a bit more spacious which might have been nice. We perhaps would have liked a couple more options on the dessert menu at dinner.

Our stay was exceptional with delicious food and fantastic facilities

The rooms were beautiful decorated, clean and quiet. The food was exceptional both at the hotel and in Rougemont itself. Lovely spa and terrace with exceptional views of the mountain. Very peaceful and relaxing. Majority of staff very friendly, helpful and attentive.

The hotel is located near the railway so you can hear the train if sleeping with the door open, however I appreciate that cannot be helped. Otherwise a perfect stay at a lovely hotel! Thank you

In spite of the breakfast and bar issues, we had a great stay and would happily return.

The hotel is beautifully situated with views across the valley to the mountains. Very relaxing and comfortable public areas. Clean, airy rooms that totally met expectations. The reception staff were friendly and efficient.

The bar should be correctly stocked and be able to provide the drinks that are listed in the drinks menu. My wife and I requested a local white wine and a Jameson's, neither of which was available. The breakfast was chaotic with not enough space available in the breakfast room with several parties moved to a room downstairs. This meant having to go up and down the stairs to get food. Moreover, there was not enough food available and food that was finished was not replaced. This was very disappointing.

We had a penthouse suite which was very comfortable and lovely view. Hotel lobby restaurant/bar is super cozy. Had a massage and enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely decor. Just a wonderful stay all around

Its VERY minor details but the room could do with a full length mirror in the bedroom and some more shelf options in the bathroom, again very minor and only feedback for the hotel.

a hidden gem

fantastic mountain lodge in one of Switzerland’s most beautiful villages. modern wooden chalet with huge but cozy lounge, great bar, very friendly staff and nice spa/gym/pool amenities. nice, modern rooms, great view of the mountains overlooking the village. ideal place for a weekend chilled getaway. Highly recommended for couples. bonus: dogs are accepted!

Views v good / rooms v comfortable/ service v bad and won’t go there again.

Service v bad. Staff don’t understand international guests. Made mistakes about our reservation in restaurant / refused to serve us and were v rude. Not accommodating to guests/ don’t understand service and had to ask for everything. Plus the lights went off 3 times as soon as we entered the room after arrival. Room was freezing so we had to ask for extra heaters.

I definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a fabulous stay. Very nice staff and location. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Hotel is very renovated. Spa area offers relaxing times. Gstaad just 15 minutes away. Breakfast was 10 out of 10.

The spa needs to be checked more often by the staff. Towels were not refilled during high occupancy. Spa is a bit tiny but for a 4 star property still extremely nice.
