Clean and spacious rooms with a unique interior design. The huge terrace was a great bonus and a perfect place to relax. The partnership with a nearby ski shop was very convenient and made everything easy to organize. The location is excellent, about 10 minutes to the city, with shops, restaurants, and everything else within walking distance. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

A truly excellent mountain weekend getaway

The view of the mountains, the sunrise, it was perfect! The staff are really very helpcul and professi9nal, facilities are complete and clean and the location suitse si ce it was a few minute walk from the Promenade so it wasn't too busy, located in an accesible and quiet part of town.

Excellent retreat in the mountains and city

Excellent room, clean and cosy. Very attentive and accommodating staff. Fantastic restaurant, with fresh and tasty food. Activities included in the price, mountain hike, were great too.

Spa was private, which was great, but had only sauna, hamam and bath. Swimming pool was outside.

It remains close to the city center and with a nice restaurant in the property. The breakfast is good as well.

I have to admit than for almost 400CHF a night, I unfortunately did not sleep well at all, and for this price it can’t be. For mainly 2 reasons : (1) the room is just above the strong river passing next the hôtel which create a huge noise all along. (2) No A/C so your room is like a sauna when it is 30degrees outside.

Very nice place to stay for families to explore the region.

Excelent breakfast and good room size. I particurlarly like the big closet space for luggage and the nice balcony. The restaurant is also excelent and there are lots of options for activities for children.

Wonderful stay with lovely hosts!!

The staff, matti family and especially TIM were so good, they made us feel at home. Always helpful in all ways be it breakfast, checkin, checking out nearby attractions or even dropping us to railway station in their car with all our baggages. We are pleased that we chose this property and would love to visit again.

The bus that connects to gstaad main area is once in an hour in both ways. Or walking is 2 km one way.

Overpriced and uncomfortable room but very nice staff and restaurant

We love the staff and the restaurant and the fact that a lot of family come there every year. However, our room was extremely uncomfortable and had no closet - supposedly it was an upgraded room but it was far worse than the standard room we had last year. We did complain but no other room was available and also no discount was given for the discomfort and low quality of the room because the reception said that it was booked via booking.com and we should be complaining to them and not directly to the hotel. Also they claimed that the site had a very clear description of the room. We definitely expected more for a $500+ nightly charge

Very comfortable stay, will be back next year!

The staff, location and facilities were perfect for us: neat to town but quiet, and VERY friendly and competent staff. We had a very generous room with a large balcony, seating area and bathroom, with a view to the mountains. Also, free parking in fromt of the hotel!

Everything was very good, but we found the matrasses rather hard. Also, a mini-bar would have been great!

The staff were extremely kind and thoughtful. They brought a nice basket, treats and a toy for my dog. Overall wonderful stay at this hotel! It was absolutely delightful. The hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained, with exceptionally clean facilities. I highly recommend this hotel. Also very close to the center of Gstaad.
