Great location, poor facilities

Best thing about it is that it’s right on the pier where you usually arrive to the island, so no extra transportation needed to get there when arriving or leaving the island. Also very comfortable for Islam day tours (for the same reason)

Great location for diving but the beach is not for swimming

Perfect location for diving expeditions as it’s right next to the pier but it’s still very quiet in the evenings. The rooms are bright, comfortable, spacious and very clean. Although I booked 2 rooms for our family of 3, each room could fit 3 easily. The price is reasonable but still high for Koh Tao.

The beach is not swimmable and full of chorals. Plus it was always very windy and the waves were too high.

The bed was very comfortable. Great view on the beach and lovely terrace.

We left our room early in the morning and returned after 3pm and the room had not been cleaned. The bedsheets are ripped and look dirty from old stains.

Absolutely loved our stay at Ananda Villa. The room was beautiful, bright, clean and spacious!. The beds were the comfiest I have had yet on my trip to Thailand The staff were lovely and attentive and the restaurant was good too.. we ate here both nights of our stay.

Great stay, located right on the beach, close to dive boats!

Great spot right next to the beach. I went diving with Crystal Dive who is located right next door, so it was very conveniently located. The room was excellent. Onsite laundry service was very convenient and priced well. Highly recommended if you're looking to stay on the beach in an area of town that's busy during the day but very quite at night.

The lock to the room was a padlock. It worked but less than ideal.

The rooms are spacious, with good outside are for drying wet stuff/dive gear as well as space inside for the same. It is safe and there is cctv around the resort. Staff were very friendly and helpful, it is very close to the pier!!

Really convenient location

Excellent location. The hotel was right next to the boat pier so it was very convenient for us to walk straight to the hotel. Also, it was next to the diving school we chose (Black Turtle Dive) so it was super easy to walk to dive in early mornings and to rest in our room by lunch time. The room was clean and spacious (comparing to other hotels that we have stayed on the island before with similar prices). Plus, the liquid soap they provided smelt really nice.

Nothing in particular, but it would have been nice if the reception was opened 24 hours because we arrived with the night boat which reached the pier at 4am. We couldn't check in until morning and didn't know who to contact.

Location if you are not into partying every night. Lots of diving schools around and our favorite restaurant was just 5 minutes away. Big room, shower is separated from toilet.

No cleaning means no water? You can just leave at the door. This is an island with sand everywhere so you need a faucet at the beginning of the stairs or some kind of water system to get rid of sands.

Fabulous and comfy stay

Great location for diving. I Dived with the onside guys at Black Turtle, so staying with these guys made sense. They have an amazing on-site restaurant - Breeze, and the staff were all very helpful. About a 20 minute walk into the heart of Koh Tao, so if you're looking to party you have a way to walk, but still lots of restaurants and bars about. 5 minutes walk from the pier. As a solo female travel, I rate the place. Good vibes and very safe.

Having a swimming pool would have been great, but the size and location of the property does not allow it. Perhaps it would be good to mention that there is an excellent diving school (Black Turtle) within the premises (perhaps can offer a special price for hotel guests?)

Great rooms :)

Great value for your money, the bed was super comfortable, good bedsheets and aircon working great. The bathroom is nice and modern. Rooms have a view of the beach from the balcony, close to everything but quiet. There is a nice cafe/restaurant downstairs.

Wifi could be a little better, there are several signals but they are not very stable.
