Very nice people in the reception, the rooms were great and every bed was big and lots of storage space everywhere
The place is super close to almost everything Very close to the beach Also everything is very nice and the place felt very well taken care of
The smell in the showers wasn’t the best But its shared so there is nothing you can really do about it other than that the mattress was a little bit uncomfortable

Only planned to stay for a couple days and then go get an Airbnb, but Blue Chitta is better than any Airbnb experience.

A wonderful studio & cafe with great teachers.
Lovely & quiet hostel with privacy. All staff are lovely - always happy to help and answer questions/find the right yoga classes/activities for you. Big thanks to Sushi & Jo for being so welcoming and friendly. There was a great variation of yoga classes to choose from led by lovely teachers. I loved my couple of days freediving with Goni, he was brilliant & seemed so passionate about me having a good experience in the water. His breathwork classes were fantastic! Cafe below had a nice, chilled vibe with loads of healthy/tasty food choices and lots of lovely people to chat to. Just down the road there’s a quiet & peaceful little beach away from noisy beach bars.
On my free diving retreat it would have been great to have at least 1 coffee/hot drink token to go with a food option for the price. Many yoga mats could do with being replaced - I was often covered in rubber/plastic from over-used mats after class. Some yoga classes were quite cramped/started late from trying to squeeze too many people.

    Don't Stay Here
Location is quieter. Yoga classes next door are convenient. Staff were nice once they warmed up a bit..
Facilities are low quality, run down, and not the cleanest. The bar holding the curtain up by my bed was fixed with electrical tape, one of the bathroom doors fell off during the time I was staying there, everything needs a deep clean, the light by my bed didn't work at first. The storage lockers are these beat up old boxes outside of the room getting 100% sunlight all day (didn't want my things to roast in there like an oven). I thought by paying more (2x some other nearby hostels), I would get more. Wrong. It's a cheap hostel next to a yoga studio. That's it. Very disappointing. Food at the cafe (1 free meal / day) is bad white people food. Probably not what you're coming to Thailand for. There is almost NO COMMON SPACE. There is a single sad little couch near reception that seemed always occupied and only holds 2 people anyway. They have allowed all possible common space to be co-opted by 1)a business that doesn't even use the space in the evening (Prana café) or 2) the yoga studio (another business). In a sense, selling out the potential for organic, intentional community to capitalistic interests. Not very yogi.

Overpriced- would not recommend, not worth it.
The cafe and the yoga, comfortable bed
We stayed here for one night and, given the high price, we came in with high expectations — unfortunately, it didn’t live up to them. At 7 am, staff came into the dorm and turned off the electricity, which woke me up. There’s no electricity during the day, so you have to shower and get ready in the dark. The bathrooms had a bad smell, and in one case the door fell off completely in my friend’s hand. There was also no soap provided. There’s no communal area to relax, which makes it hard to meet people. The dorm was quiet — almost too quiet, to the point where it felt like you couldn’t speak. This is definitely not the place for socialising. The hostel expects a lot from guests: you have to sign multiple forms and leave a large deposit. Everything in the building looked old and worn. The best part was the café, but you only get one token per day for a meal (breakfast or lunch), and this doesn’t include a drink. We also enjoyed the yoga class, but when we asked to move it to another day, the hostel wasn’t very accommodating — not great customer service. Overall, if it were much cheaper it might be acceptable, but for the price, you don’t get much at all — and you’re still in a bunk room.

    Dont go here.
I liked yoga and this is the reason to book it. I liked the idea of retreat, yoga and hostel. Good food, but not exellent.
No ac in the room, exluding night time. Room is very very Hot. there is no chilling place. Everywhere van, it is ok, but as all the other hostels etc are having ACs, should not me problem, at because hostel is not cheap. You tecnically buy your free food and yoga in the room price. Even the chair in the balcony is Hot. I booked female dorm and there was man twice there. So if there is man in the room, please make them just mix. I dont like to be female dorm and come from the shower just with the towel on and seen man there. Stayed there 1 week. In the middle, I asjed yo change todella, and they asked even how long I am staying. I understand not changeing towel too often, but 4 days is long time. And bed linen was not changed at all. Did not want same questions, but I have stayed other hostels in the Island, and they ask to change linen after 3-4 days. 6 month ago, they had bedbuck, would not Wonder why. Plus I did not hade any where mentioned that hostel has cats and puppies and those could even come to the room. Now I am sick, because I am allerged to cats and dogs. Would not mind if pets would just be around, but they were everywhere.

I loved it, and been there twice in my two weeks trip.
It's a perfect place for solo travelers, men, and women. The friendly staff organized free diving (not scuba) and yoga classes. The place is safe, with lockers for sensitive equipment and lots of room to pile your belongings. You'll have opportunities to meet others, such as at the Friday community dinner. You can also sign up for yoga lessons and workshops with various options and packages, including unlimited options, which provide the perfect "Retreat." Notice that the price includes a yoga lesson per day and a breakfast. Nearby, at walking distance, the Sai ri beach provides excellent opportunities for open-water swimming, with buoys to navigate the way and enough depth. The Prana cafe on the first floor provides a nurturing breakfast (included at a price) but relatively very small dishes and an expansive menu.
