Nice family resort, walking distance to pier and spire beach

Nice pool but unable to access small beach due to dive boat moored there most of the time.

Septic tank was right outside the room so sometimes a bad smell would waft onto the balcony which is not pleasant if you are sitting outside.

Beautiful room with the most amazing view!

Beautiful room with amazing view to the mountains! Very friendly staff. You can get breakfast for only 250b with buffet style. Warm water in the shower. Comfy bed. Perfect location - just 10minutes walking from the Pier and few minutes from the beach. I wish I come again to Koh Tao and stay here again! Also they offered free taxi to the Pier in the morning.

Slightly expensive for what it is but overall a nice place to stay.

Good location easy walking distance to and from the pier and main area. The staff were great. The pool was lovely however not much shade. Breakfast was more than adequate plenty to choose from. Bottles of water left at your door every morning with fresh toilet paper.

Our bed are very hard, if you're only staying for a few days I don't think it would matter but after staying 6 my back is definitely feeling it. As a whole I'd say it definitely needs some TLC. Particularly for the price you paid. A bit more counter space in the bathroom would have been helpful, if not at least some hooks so you've got somewhere to put your towel while showering.

The staff were lovely and accomodating. The bed was very hard, I spoke to the staff and they brought us a mattress topper which was better. There was a gap in the seal of the door to our room for mozzies to enter but fixed with some mozzie coils. Overall the staff were fantastic and location and view was great

The location is good. The beds were also pleasant.

On arrival, the shower wasn’t working. A handle wasn’t installed to turn the shower on. Upon letting the hotel know, somebody came to our room after about an hour. After it was finally installed, the water that came out was brown and dirty. This is not the quality we were hoping for. During check-out, we let the staff know about our shower experience. The staff offered us a discount which we had to arrange through booking.com. After letting booking.com know, they contacted the hotel to confirm. To our surprise, the hotel told booking.com that they would not be giving a discount. The staff lied to us which we find very unprofessional. We will not be returning to this place again.

The pool and beach area were very small and not very inviting. The windows rattled constantly in the wind until we jammed some paper in the frame. The whole resort looks a bit tired.

Never again

Good location within a 5-10 min walk to main Sairee beach area one way and the same distance back towards the pier. That's the only good thing I could say really. The staff seemed very hard working and replaced water and toilet rolls each day

The grounds of the hotel are extremely dated and tired. The tiles around the rooms and pool were a deathtrap with lots of them broken and sharp edges. A famiiy with children left very shortly after arriving, during our stay. The room was clean (however we did notice mice droppings when returned each day). I appreciate that things like this can't always be helped especially when the rooms were so close to trees and bushes. I didn't like the old orange /brown tiles, especially the broken ones and the fact that the room felt damp and dark. Would be an ideal place for young people on a budget to stay but apart from that I'd stay well away.

Apartment 22A. The water pressure of the shower was very low. There was no shower curtain, so after showering half the bathroom was wet. The tap in the bathroom switched off so quickly you could only wash one hand at the time.

Very comfortable stay and great location

Super comfortable and nice hotel with a great location next to the beach! The room was great with a comfortable bed and a nice patio. We really enjoyed the pool area too and there was even a small private beach at the hotel. This is the perfect place to stay in Sairee beach since it's in a peaceful and quiet area but still close (a few minute walk) to restaurants, cafes, bars, and everything else you need. The hotel offers free taxi to the pier and laundry service at an affordable price. I would definitely come here again. I enjoyed staying in this part of Sairee - it's much more chill and less busy than the other side of Sairee. Very good value for money. :)

Gorgeous stay at a lovely hotel

We opted for the deluxe sea view room, which did not disappoint. The view was incredible, and the room was very spacious. There was bottles of water and fresh towels each day for us. Check in was from 2pm however they were able to facilitate a slightly earlier check in for us as we had arrived very early morning and really needed to freshen up. Special mention to team member Cho, he was very happy and helpful. We didn’t get breakfast here therefore can’t comment on that. The pool was clean and open daily from 8am-8pm I’m sure. Very short walk away from many shops, restaurants, bike rentals. There was also a free taxi service to the ferry port which was ideal on the way back down.

The bathroom was very dull inside, and the shower was extremely low pressure. However this was our only downside to our stay.

Okayish but pay attention to wish room you book!! Some amazing some not so much

It is close to the everything cool you can do near saree beach and is quite convenient to access from and to the ferry.

The small rooms are in a property far away from the pool and the beach. The windows we had gave on a corridor; so we had no natural light entering the room (which is quite a turn down in such a beautiful island). The amenities need some renovation. It didn’t quite looked neat and cared for in the building and room we were in.

Lovely location but a few issues

Lovely location and very pleasant lady checked us in (red braces), but room was very small for four people. Poor lighting and concrete grey colouring on walls and floors made it feel even smaller. We all had sand on the bedsheets in our beds on arrival. Bathroom was very dark with no shower curtain so everywhere got wet when showering. Used the hotel laundry facilities and they overcharged us and everything came back stained and full of the same sand that was on our bed sheets.

Pool area is a walk away and has extremely slippy tiles around it. So dangerous.

Nothing Like the Photos, Disrespectful Staff, Filthy Room

An absolute nightmare. If I could give zero stars, I would. This hotel is a complete disaster and borders on being a scam. The photos on Booking have absolutely nothing to do with reality. The room was filthy, completely run down, and just disgusting. We booked a room with a TV and got something completely different no TV, none of the promised amenities. When we brought this up with the staff, we were literally laughed at. The woman at reception openly mocked us and was downright disrespectful. Her exact words were: “So what do you want to do now? You come up with a solution.” I’ve never experienced such rude behavior. The shower if you can even call it that was a disgrace. Everything was old, dirty, rusty, and the walls were moldy. The entrance door was made of glass with a 4 cm-wide gap on each side, allowing insects, bugs, or even snakes to crawl in without a problem. The bedsheets were yellowed, stained, smelled awful, and looked like they hadn’t been changed in weeks. The entire room reeked of dampness and mold. But the worst part was the behavior of the staff. And it’s clearly not a one off ust look at the reviews on Google. Rude, arrogant, dismissive. You don’t feel like a guest, you feel like a problem. To me, this wasn’t a hotel it was a bad joke. No one should book this place. Save your money, your nerves, and your stomach. Completely unacceptable. Never again.

Bed bugs beware

Bed bugs beware! We arrived to a room that was nothing like the pictures and dirty bedsheets with blood stains. The bathroom was filthy and infested. From a quick search online I saw other reviews stating similar in the days prior to our arrival. I explained to the staff that I could not stay there if there was bed bugs and they said they understood and I could get a refund from booking.com - two months later still no refund. Don’t waste your money book somewhere else. Pictures are of new part of hotel but we were put in old part. They did not offer us to move room they just accepted the issue was there.

Great stay - a lot to do in Koh Tao, perfect location for a hotel in my opinion. Definitely coming back!

The Pool was amazing and the Room was very nice as well. The best thing about Koh Tao Heritage is the service. They clean you room daily, you get new towels and water every day. They answer any question you might have and their recommendations were excellent. Amp, Nancy, Cho, Benz and Pyae were always very kind to us and especially the owners are lovely people.

No generator!

The size of the room. The quietness. Daily cleaning.

The last day there was an organised blackout island-wide due to cable replacement. On 16h30 the power was supposed to come back on. It didn't. It was 35 degrees in the room. I can not believe the hotel has no back up generator. Most hotels did. Even the hostel! Had to book another hotel for that night. I believe the hotel should have paid for it but all I got was a free breakfast the next morning. At the least mention it is the description there is no generator as it is a common occurrence on the island.

We had a suite right on the sea front which was beautiful. Breakfast was good - a variety of things available. Good location close to the beach and restaurants and the pier. Free taxi to the pier on checkout.

The hotel grounds really need a lick of paint, a bit run down and the beach was messy. There were also people outside of our room on the loungers (our private balcony) at midnight playing music. This may be avoided if you make it more obvious it’s a private area. People can easily walk from the road to the hotel rooms which is a little odd.

Location was good.

We were first put into a room with badly fitted plumbing causing the water from the tap to come out on the floor near the toilet. The bed sheets had stains on them. Our room was located in a corridor with no windows and our doors had to be kept covered by curtains as there was no privacy.

The room is simple and functional, good value for money. Very well located, breakfast is good and the staff is super friendly, they even prepared for us a special room decoration since was our honeymoon 😁

The accommodation, pool and reception + Breakfast are in separate places, it's ok but in the beginning it is a bit confusing. Anyways is everything near like less than 50m.

Very deceiving for what we booked. Had to walk up a hill to get to the flatlet. Booked small room but did not realise the shower would be over the toilet with no pressure water trickles from the shower. Toilet seat was broken. Bathroom full of mildew. No cupboard. No safe. Aircon switches off when key removed.

No additional towel for pool/shower. One towel each only. Walk and cross road and down stairs to get to pool and beach.

View from window wasn't exactly what I expected as we had a building partially obscuring the sea View that was one of the reasons I booked the room I did. Pool was small and no direct access to the beach. Lots of rules and regulations posted in various places. I understand that the owners want to keep the property in a good state, but please treat people as adults until they prove otherwise.
