We had a really lovely stay. The staff were super friendly, the room was really comfortable and cosy, and the sound of the river so nearby was super soothing. Breakfast the next morning was delicious.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had. The white chocolate and raspberry porridge was blissful. Scrambled eggs with salmon was also fantastic. Pizzas are great. Staff very friendly - wonderful service. Very dog friendly.
Mattress a bit hard for my liking.

Beautiful area. Very nice restaurant. Great bar. The lovely room was clean, plenty of room with seating areas. View of the river was the best.
Both of the twin mattresses have seen their better days.

This is a beautiful little boutique type hotel set right on a wild river.
The welcome we received by both owners and staff was exceptionally warm.
The atmosphere was again beautifully set as Christmas and the food was exceptional.
The room was slightly small and I personally prefer a bath ( only shower available) stairs need to be used to access rooms so maybe not ideal for anyone with mobility restrictions.
The room choice was my fault and it was still perfectly adequate for one night stay.
