The room was lovely, large and comfortable with a beautiful view. The food in the restaurant excellent and the staff on reception and concierge super friendly and welcoming.
The spa facilities are very tired, and not very relaxing. The pool area felt cold and neglected. The one jacuzzi is stained and small. The dining room and bar in the evening were very cold, some guests in the restaurant were sat in their coats. I asked for the ac split system to be switched to heat but it wasn’t. We moved quickly to the bar after eating only to find it just as cold. Again we asked for the ac to be turned to heating, we left after one drink to go to bed early having gotten really cold. To be honest we didn’t find the staff in the restaurant or bar very friendly at all, very different from the concierge and reception team.

Love the location as Pitlochry is a favourite of ours, staff are friendly and welcoming, the beds are super comfy.
Some of the facilities are dated and worn, such as the hot tub area and steam room, shower head wasn’t working properly in room and our breakfast took 45 minutes to arrive.

The castle is nice, nothing special or memorable. The spa facilities are outdated and changing facilities need updated.
The spa facilities were very underwhelming, the rooms are basic, lack in character.
