Birchwood Pitlochry

Friendly welcome upon arrival, nice room, great breakfast, snacks available; a nice place overall in a nice little town.

We stayed at Birchwood on Valentine’s Day and honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place. From the moment we arrived, it felt special, warm, personal, and thoughtfully done in a way that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it. We were incredibly lucky to be upgraded to the suite, which was absolutely stunning. The room was immaculate, with the most comfortable bed and everything you’d want for a cosy stay: beautiful décor, a flat screen TV, great coffee, and those little touches that make a space feel considered rather than just furnished. The interior design throughout the hotel is gorgeous. It’s boutique in the truest sense, stylish and elegant but still homely. You can tell real care has gone into every detail. The owners made the experience what it was. They are genuinely warm, friendly, and accommodating, and you can feel that it’s their passion. Breakfast the next morning was also super delicious. To make it even more magical, it started snowing on Saturday evening and continued into Sunday morning. Waking up to that view after the best sleep we’ve had in ages just made the whole stay feel even more special. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. Birchwood feels less like a hotel and more like a home away from home. A perfect location in Pitlochry, a romantic atmosphere, and a stay that felt personal from start to finish. We’ll absolutely be back. Thank you!
