Excellent service, staff very friendly with comfortable accommodation. I believe this hotel is under new management and I'm sure it will only get better and better.
Bathroom a little bit small but this wasn't a huge issue. It was clean and adequate for a 2 night stay.

The location was great, a 5 minute walk to the Main Street
We stayed in the Garden Room, which is separate to the main building. The room was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable
Breakfast was lovely, great choice of food
The hotel was fantastic, no changes needed

Loved the room with spectacular views. Very comfy beds. A coffee machine in the room. Bliss!!
Excellent breakfast.
Despite weather, it was an easy stroll to and from the town.
Dinner portions could have been more substantial but it was excellent quality.

Nice hotel, comfy beds, friendly staff.
Shower didn’t work properly (temperature fluctuated from freezing to boiling of its own accord) and took forever to warm up. This is clearly a recurring issue as there is a sign in the bathroom. A working shower is a basic but fundamental amenity. For it not to work properly is unacceptable at £200+ per night. Room was nice but very small - again not really reflected in the price.

Loved our visit here. Staff was so pleasant. Room was lovely with views over the city. Way walking from downtown. And the food was amazing.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, in a gorgeous setting and fabulous location with a lovely walk into town and down to the beautiful sites. The food was amazing and the bedroom very comfortable. We were upgraded so we had a gorgeous large bedroom.
Sittings before meals works a little strangely as you all wait in a beautiful lounge where the seating can get a little awkward when you don't know the people sitting on the couch in front of you or next to you but its all gorgeous nonetheless.

Beautiful and comfortable Hotel. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Great stay will be back next week.
The only thing we would prefer is a free standing shower, however would not put us off staying again.

Beautiful and exclusive, breakfast lovely and staff superb and accommodating.
Very quiet, no background music lacking atmosphere slightly beautiful views from the bedroom. The shower was a hardship.

Having stayed here before, we knew the hotel and liked it. It’s comfortable and traditional. The staff were all lovely and friendly and looked after us well. The food was of a reasonable standard with a set menu, a little limited in choice. The chocolate fondant dessert was a triumph on my tastebuds. Our room was comfortable, if in the eaves.
We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and we’re both in our senior years. I let the hotel know ahead of booking and yet we found ourselves at the top of the building, three floors up. We managed the stairs but they may have considered this when allocating our room. I’m unsure but think the ownership may have changed hands in recent years and it’s perhaps lost its personal touch. They have an open fire which was lovely on a wet chilly evening but only lit on the Saturday night, not the Sunday, which is a pity. The Christmas decor was very pared back. It lacked a bit of atmosphere.

Good selection on breakfast menu which was beautifully cooked. Hotel is very comfortable and cozy with open log fires in lounge and library.
Stairs to second floor are quite steep.

The location is only five or six minutes walk from the town shops and twenty /twenty five minutes walk to the theatre.
If you have a room on the second floor be prepared for the forty steps to your room.
Couldn't get this sentence in the short space below so I put it on here Chefs food "presentation fabulous , taste exceptional, different choice of meal every day " Head chef has trained his staff very well, he/ she must be so proud of the quality they produce every day. thank you !

This was a really special place to stay. We had a beautiful (and enormous room) with amazing bathroom comfiest bed, lovely sitting area and gorgeous views to the hills. All the staff were outstanding and the meals were a real treat. It felt like a real Scottish hotel with great style in all decor etc. Two beautiful log fires in the evening. Come here for any special occasion and you will not be disappointed.
Everything was perfect

Wonderful venue. Great location. Impression building inside and out.
I find it difficult to criticise this property. As a result the only negative was the shower curtain instead of a screen. Reminded me of the 70’s.

The decor was lovely, warm and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was a bother to them. The food was good. Well presented and the service was first class. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent, close to Pitlochry but not noisy in any way. The staff were really nice, very knowledgable and helpful. The food was excellent and the room outstanding.
We had a slight issue with a worn out pillow but this really wasn't a big problem (we didn't realise that there were alternative pillows in the cupboard)

Interested building, lovely location and views across Pitlochry. Well appointed room with dual aspect, staff friendly and welcoming. Food was good
Menu choice was limited which was fine but when you only offer a limited choice need to make sure there is enough so things don’t run out half way through service. Our Dessert of choice had run out even though we were early diners. So we had cheese board between us and were still charged the supplement even though they had no other dessert that we wanted.

This place had great views (even checking in at evening time) from our room. The whole place is very well managed with attentive staffs around all times to assist anything. The restaurant located in the hotel was also great, with a cosy living room to relax at before/ after the meal. Room was spacious and clean. As we had to leave for our roadtrip early the next morning, the hotel kindly packed our breakfast to-go (sandwich, fruits, crackers and a water) which we were very grateful for! Definitely saved us as we had a the 2+ hour drive and a 2 hour distillery tour coming up that morning.
There is no lifts in this hotel.

The dinner was superb! They sat us in a living room by the fire place to have cocktails, hors doeuvres, and to order our meal. They had both gf and vegetarian menu options. The servers were attentive beyond anything I’d experienced before and the food was as well! I will never forget the chocolate ganache dessert!
All good. They might pave the way to the front door from overflow parking. Hard to roll suitcases over the rocks.

The room was just beautiful. What a view! So clean and comfortable and spacious. Loved the bathtub! Enjoyed the lounge area. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Appreciated calling a taxi for us and quick check out. Also got 1/2 hour grace for checking out which was really helpful.
Could have used more convenient plugs near the bed. The ordering process in the lounge before dinner was a little strange. first drinks then dinner then wine with three different people. The dining room was extremely HOT. I actually had to go outside for a bit between courses. For breakfast, I prefer a buffet. It was unclear how much you could order. It was very delicious though and no problem to order more granola for our friends.

On top of that, the views from the property are wonderful.

Beautiful hotel close to the town centre. Our room had a balcony with fantastic views.
The staff were very helpful and friendly with quiet efficiency - nothing was too much trouble,
The breakfast and evening meals were excellent.
Personal preference for walk-in shower rather than shower over bath.
10.0 / 10.0
The hotel is a short walk from the town and is set on a hill so there is a nice view from some of the rooms.
The decor is very tasteful, and everything is well maintained and comfortable.
The dinner is always excellent and I like that you are asked to go into the sitting room to choose from the menu and have a drink along with canapes until being taken through to the dining room. The dining room has white tablecloths for both dinner and breakfast.
Nothing worthy of note.
