The deluxe room and standard room were both outstanding. The staff were generally friendly. The senior waiter at breakfast was so friendly and personable, a credit to the hotel
On our first night we decided to have a sharing steak meal between 3 for £95, unfortunately 1 cup of fries, half a tomato and 1 mushroom are not sufficient for 3 people. The steak was cold by the time it was served. We did voice our concerns and the manager to his credit did offer to not charge. I was not comfortable with this so we agreed on 3 free sticky toffee puddings would be ok. All left reasonably happy.

Perfectly situated gor a base. Comfy beds, good shower and lively room.
Overpriced for bed and breakfast. Also had dinner the night before, which was lovely but very overpriced.
£10.45 for leek and potato soup was a warning of the prices.

Our room was amazing, and the bed just enveloped you and was extremely comfortable. Centrally located with beautiful surroundings.
There was nothing not to like.
