Excellent Valentines Day Stay

Brilliant B&B

Everything was spot on, very comfortable bed, good shower, spacious room even had a view over pitlochry and the surrounding area. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly and chatty. Will be back when in Pitlochry.

Wholesome place to stay

The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. Welcomed on Hogmanay with a glass of Prosecco and lovely persona cards in the rooms. The full house was immaculate with lovely small touches that made it very cosy and homely. Breakfast choices were vast and of very high standard. Great location 10 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants.

Very good breakfast, immaculately clean, and to top it all very friendly and kind owners.

There was much to like. Poplars is a great guest house. The rooms were immaculate, and the breakfast was very good. To top it all the owners were lovely and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better guest house.

Our alternative could have been a hotel, but other than an available bar, this guest house had everything you would want from a hotel.

Our first floor room was large, spacious and very comfortable. Our hostess was very welcoming and we enjoyed our cooked breakfast in the morning. A good location as well, just a short walk into the town centre, and also not far from the theatre.

We didn’t have any issues at all.

A quiet peaceful stay In the most beautiful house surrounded by beauty.

Everything! Every detail was perfect, immaculately clean, sensational views, large room with everything you could need, beautiful breakfast room- and food and Nancy or host was lovely. Such a privilege to be able to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay. Nancy and Scott are very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The view was beautiful. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of choices. Special mention to Ruby who was adorable.

Very nice and relaxing.

Very clean, good power in the shower, relaxing, large ensuite, provided with a nice greeting, water and snacks, well informed of requirements, owner was very nice and friendly, made sure we were happy throughout the stay. Breakfast menu had a good selection and was well prepared.

A fabulous place to stay and to explore this part of Scotland!

This is a wonderful guest house with 6 rooms all of which are immaculate and well appointed with private bathrooms.

Nancy and her husband are gracious and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. They even put our wet clothes in the dryer after a rainy hike in the highlands. Breakfast in the morning is delicious and so plentiful!

Beautiful B&B with breakfast to die for.

Gorgeous place walking distance to Pitlochry centre. Lovely hosts who made it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was fantastic, best tea I had in all of Scotland! Immaculate condition. The common area lounge room with its complimentary dram of whisky was a lovely bonus.

Minor things, but it was a very warm night without air-conditioning. A fan was provided which was great, but larger one might be better with the summer heat. Single bed was also quite small, for taller people.

A very special start to our tour of Scotland!

Can't praise this Guest House enough! It is immaculately maintained throughout and offers superbly appointed accommodation with plenty of parking and easy access to town. We stayed in Room 2 on the first floor which has far-reaching views of beautiful countryside. The bed was really comfortable, the room was quiet and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast from a menu of great choice. The scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were exceptionally good. Nancy is a truly delightful host offering the very best of Scottish hospitality. We only wish we had stayed for longer. Needless to say, we highly recommend 'The Poplars'!

Highland Hospitality in Pitlochry

Immaculately clean, lovely house and grounds, excellent situation and a lovely breakfast (I enjoyed the dash of whisky with my breakfast). There is also complimentary whisky in the guest lounge which is a lovely touch. Nancy works very hard to ensure a welcome for her guests. I would stay again.

The twin room & bathroom were a little on the snug side for two friends sharing. It was fine for one night but would have been tricky for more than a couple of days.

Wish we'd booked for longer

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this beautiful guesthouse. Everything was incredible - stunning room with lovely views over the hills, luxury toiletries in the bathroom, great breakfast and also lovely hosts. This has to be, without doubt, one of the best guesthouses we have stayed in. Loved the location slightly on the periphery of the (often) busy town centre, which afforded peace and quiet. Walking distance to Blair Atholl distillery for a tipple.

One of our top places to stay in Scotland!

Scott and Nancy were very accommodating and helpful. It was nice to have a specially prepared breakfast rather than a buffet. In the evening, the complimentary whisky was a bonus.
