Well appointed rooms, including a fan for warm nights. The location to town was excellent. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious.
The only thing that could have been better is to have had key cards for the door so that multiple people in our party can get access to the room.

Sheets and towels were good quality and very comfortable.
Bed comfy, nice bathroom.

Location of hotel near to town centre was good.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Layout of breakfast room led to unnecessary congestion as a lot of the options were laid out in a corner of the room restricting access to one person at a time. There wasn't a good selection of fruit which was surprising as it was June.
The room was quite small so you had to be careful where to put things if you wanted to move around the room. There were plenty of drawers to store stuff in so well worth unpacking.
The chair under the desk was a bit too high so didn't really fit and couldn't be used at desk or for storing clothes.

The star rating was 4 star and hotel came across as 3 star. Decor looked rather dated and a bit on the dreary side. The breakfast was plentiful but could have been better quality.
