The host, Pedro was very welcoming, kind and keen to ensure my stay was enjoyed.

A great choice for our New Year break.

Friendly staff couldn't do enough for us they showed us where everything was .The room was clean warm and comfortable. The Shower was excellent. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of food. The house was situated well for accessing Pitlochry. We would use this Guest house again..

Good Spacious room/Great Power shower/Comfy bed and lovely view of mountains. Great Staff and especially the Owner Pedro who was so hands on and Super Efficient on any query.👌💯

Not the best of Check in due to Communication booking and TAKEOVER of Guest house. Apart from this was a Fantastic Stay and definitely BOOK AGAIN. 🥰

It was clean, tidy and the location was great.

Only thoughts we had was ..no information about facilities at hotel . Turned out they did food amd had a bat service... no one mentioned it . The room had no hangers or bin .. But we just never mentioned it as it wasn't an issue but maybe it could be mentioned to cleaner.

Really nice location, good food and friendly staff

Had a really nice stay at the Claymore. It's located a short walk from the centre of Pitlochry and close to several nice walks. The staff were very welcoming and it was a nice touch at breakfast for them to come around all the tables asking about our stay and if we had any issues. It's a beautiful old building and our room was large and comfortable. With it being an older building, you could hear some noises from the pipes when people were having a shower in the morning, but this didn't bother us.

Beautiful manor house, great location and wonderful staff

The entire stay was wonderful and I'd recommend to others. Owners were so nice and were able to help get us into one of the top dining spots in Pitlochry.

Great hotel for an overnight stay in Pitlochry.

Informative check in with map provided. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable and we loved the toiletries. Really well located to explore Pitlochry with easy parking. Staff were all very friendly and breakfast offered a good selection of quality ingredients.

On approach, the beautiful garden, well defined parking and an open main door giving a welcoming vibe. Beautifully presented entrance area with plentiful information leaflets and top up tea, coffee and milk available, so thoughtful. A warm welcome from mine host, Gordon, with assurances in respect of no query or request was too much to ask for. Oh…. the fabulous beds, so fresh, comfy and cosy…. slept like a baby!!!

This guesthouse is a true gem.

Location was perfect,very near to town centre. Upon checkin, Gordon was really helpful, providing information about restaurants and walks around the area. Great little touches in the room too

Undoubtedly the best B and B we’ve stayed at in Scotland!

The request for a ground floor room with a garden view was granted and the room was much bigger than we expected. Plenty of space to relax on the couch and enjoy the scenery of the hills in the distance as well as the beautifully maintained garden. Gordon provided an excellent choice of breakfast items, all cooked to perfection, while we enjoyed the view of the wildlife in the nature friendly garden. The location of the Claymore was perfect, close to all amenities yet secluded enough to give a peaceful night’s sleep. We appreciated Gordon’s recommendations for local restaurants and activities around the town.

Overnight stay

Stopped here for an overnight stay after climbing Ben Vrackie, situated very close to the town centre for bars, restaurants and shops, room was fantastic, very clean, shower was amazing and a comfy warm bed to sleep in, the owner was very friendly, informative and helpful, breakfast was cooked to perfection, we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived until we left, we will be back and would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay in lovely accommodations. Property looks just like described.

The breakfast was wonderful! Very filling and generous portions. We were there for the Highland Games. The location was central to everything. It’s a very walkable village and there was free parking for our car. Room was very large and clean.

Beautiful position on the edge of a stunningly beautiful village. Quiet rooms. Great breakfast. Close to restaurants, pubs and shops as well as scenic activities. Heaps of walking trails.
