A very good location close to the city centre. A beautiful building with a lovely and clean room, friendly staff, and a perfectly good breakfast. The surroundings of our house were very beautiful, with a wonderful blooming garden.
Things at the reception feel slightly rushed and perhaps a little impersonal, but they do have a lot of guests, so that is probably the reason. Even so, they are friendly.

Our first room smelled of drains, so we were upgraded to a self-catering apartment. Staff were very helpful and the room was spotlessly clean.
Refit of the main property meant having to walk to the hotel next door for breakfast. Didn’t feel 4 star to be brutally honest. There were scheduled roadworks outside and we were told we had to get our cars off site by 9am or we’d be trapped (this turned out to be untrue). We were informed 5 minutes before 9 on check out day and this led to a bit of panic and a not necessarily relaxing breakfast. Better communication would have avoided this.

Loved the view from our room with the sitting area to enjoy the view of the beautiful gardens.
The room was a good size and very clean. No complaints about anything also a wonderful breakfasts 😁

The room was large and well appointed though very cold on our arrival.
Previously the owners provided everything you could need, slippers, tissues , biscuits, wine glasses etc etc. we didn’t even have shower gel in the containers, they were empty. No lovely pre ordered breakfast in the charming conservatory served by lovely staff. We had to walk in the rain next door to a canteen like help yourself crowded breakfast dining room.
