Booking time for breakfast not ideal.

Breakfast was very good, location central, parking
Classed as luxury double room, did not feel like that
8.0 / 10.0
We had a lovely big room and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was buffet style and there was a big variety to choose from. The hotel is very central with lots around to do
The bar prices were a bit expensive but probably on parr with others in the area

Location, big comfortable room. Welcome drink on arrival.
Stayed here before so was not chuffed to find out I had to pay for parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fisher's - the fact that we were given a free upgrade to a massive twin double bed room was a major factor in that! The room was well furnished, well heated and had a nice view over the quiet hotel courtyard. Staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent - it was a buffet so you could eat as much as you felt like. Overall, we received fantastic value for money. The location of the hotel is superb - about as close to the centre of Pitlochry as you can get.
Didn't expect to be charged for parking in the hotel car park. It wasn't very much, and I appreciate it may be difficult to find a free overnight parking space in the centre of Pitlochry at certain times of the year - not in February, though! The charge was mentioned up front by the receptionist, to be fair, so we had the option of parking elsewhere if we'd wanted to.

Great location, comfortable, warm room with lovely big bathroom and you can get room service now. Tea/coffee/biscuits etc good.
Enjoyed our stay and nothing I didn’t like as such but was a little disappointed as we’d stayed before and felt the breakfast was not what it used to be. Porridge was cold and very little fruit available. To be fair cooked items looked nice.
Stayed three nights and whilst there was a trolley came round for extra tea/coffee etc on first day and we got fresh towels on middle day but no other housekeeping which seemed unusual.
There was snow fall on third morning (forecast) but no evidence of pavement right outside being gritted, there are quite a lot of elderly people staying so could be fall risk.

It was nice and central
Breakfast was cold understandable that big hotel and it buffet service the plate where hot but food cold
3.0 / 10.0
It was very dissappointing. The hotel was very cold in all areas. Fraying carpets in areas and when i called reception about a shower that did not work it took 3 different members from the
maintence dept to try and fix it. The hotel has no atmosphere at all and I think the Pitlochry hotel advert is very misleading. Maybe i just picked the wrong hotel.

Centrally located to pitlochry. Hotel was spotless. Probably better for an older clientele.
A little dated and the breakfast was a little cold. The continental breakfast was lovely

Breakfast was good. great selection of items to choose from.
Room was a good size
Nice toiletries in the bathroom.
Location in relation to to town was good
All of the staff were really nice.
Room was very sparse and not what we expected. Coffee machine supplied with no pods, covered in dust and looked like it hadn't been used in a long while. The bed was very uncomfortable. very hard and tiny little pillows that didn't meet the end of the bed when placed together in the middle. The room didn't look like the images I was shown online when choosing or booking our room. No information folder/leaflet giving details on hotel services like reception or room service etc. Extremely warm in the room. Turned down all the radiators but still had to have the window opened wide the whole time. The forecast was showing 3 degrees at best with a wind chill factor of minus 3 the whole time yet we couldn't cool the room down at all!! I did ask at reception as to why the room was so warm and especially the corridor outside the room to be told that they weren't sure why that would be the case with no offer to investigate/try to sort it out or offer to move us to another room. I spoke with our nieghbours the next morning and they also said that they had the same issue with no help to rectify from reception. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we were able to open the window very wide with no barrier to prevent accidents !!
There were several areas around the hotel that looked very tired and neglected and in need of repair. Private hotel car park to rear and side of the hotel yet we had to pay for parking for the duration of our stay within this car park.
Toilets within the Coachhouse attached to the hotel a very poor standard. We ate there also on our first night and although the portion sizes were huge, the food we had was not the best and a bit disappointing for the cost. Smaller better quality portions would have been better.

Beds very comfortable and good breakfast.
Floorboards right outside our room were so unbelievably creaky we literally hardly got any sleep the first night. I think we were in the oldest part of the hotel and there seemed to be a stream of people going past our bedroom door all night, the creaking of which sounded like they were right in the room. However there was a bit less traffic on the second night thankfully so wasn’t disturbed quite as much until early breakfast risers! Apart from some parts of hotel a bit tired looking and needing a facelift, I guess value for money…..without the floorboard issue!

bathroom was nice & big but bath slippy, breakfast was good as was location. staff were not entirely truthful about dinner options, first night dinner food was excellent but no atmosphere as only ourselves in smaller dining room along with 1 other couple for dinner, staff advised we could go next door to pub for dinner but couldn't book which wasn't true, we booked second dinner there, pub grub but more people
nothing really, weather could have been better but perthshire in January - enough said!

The location was centre of the town
Breakfast was good
The room phone was not working no curtains or blind in the room we were facing the train station
Parking was £5 at the hotel and £6 for room service

Location off hotel was good
Decor was old very old and tired, my room was face the back where you can see the car park, above the roof that was very old and wires everywhere and bins and rubbish bags.
The blind was damp stained at the bottom.
In the room in the morning the smell off the grease off breakfast was absolutely disgusting and strong and that was on the third floor.
This is not a 4*hotel this is a 2 star hotel
The window in toilet was filthy

Breakfast was adequate but the hot food, although cooked, was not kept warm in the heating trays. I noted that the heating trays were not hot to to the touch. The end result was that the food lost its heat quite rapidly.
As above.

The property was great albeit some repairs and improvements were being carried out.
The rooms were a bit too hot and the water was scalding hot with no warning.

Comfortable bed, clean, walking distance to other shops and restaurants.
Dinner at restaurant wasn’t great. Over cooked, lacking flavour and freshness - I had the sea bass. So ate elsewhere next night.

Location very central in a beautiful village
Not much. 4 star but building was tired, layout and signage awful room out the back with a leaking toilet. Not a 4 star room. Breakfast poor

The staff were so friendly when we arrived and had us checked in and explained all the services within minutes. The room was huge and more than enough for our family. We spent some time in the bar at night and it was pleasant and had a pool table. Location is perfect and walking distance to everything you need.

Nice breakfast but on second day we went at 9.45 and some of the trays were empty. Comfy bed, fantastic location.
Coach house, no prosecco so we went elsewhere. Ordered soup, it was disgusting, like dish water with random bits of pasta and what looked like boiled chicken. Worst soup I have ever had. We didn’t eat or drink in there again.

Comfortable room, pleasant staff, good food and good location.
The bedroom was overly warm. Having to pay for the car parking. Overall the hotel could be smarter/sharper in terms of the decoration.

Good venue for family party. Good to explore the area.
Radiator needed bleeding. Shower tray held together with tape.
Breakfast not hot enough.
Wall lights had poor pull cords

Location of the hotel is excellent. Stones throw away from the train station. There is a good atmosphere in the hotel. The breakfast was ok.
Our room was located along a long corridor, that was being painted/refurbished. The carpet had plastic floor coverings and was a trip hazard. There was old dirty furniture left outside our room.
I shouldn't have accepted this when I checked in. Advised reception at check out and was told all they could do was apologise.
